Horrible place, smelled like cigarettes all over even in the rooms

Don't go to this hotel!! Let me preface this by saying, it's actually a nice hotel, I've stayed there multiple times before when visiting that area with no issues. First I'll address the room. The outlet near the bed didn't work, so instead of fixing it they ran an extension cord from the bathroom to power the clock and just taped it to the carpet with blue painters tape, end of the world, definitely not, I just have higher expectations. Now to why you shouldn't stay at this hotel right now. The local community, since hotels are rather empty right now because of Covid, decided to put homeless people in hotels because they don't want them on the streets because of the virus. THIS IS A COVID HOTEL!! Nothing personal against homeless people, but these were all degenerates. You couldn't walk in or out any of the doors without walking through several people outside smoking. The hallways wreaked of marijuana. Here's the best part, someone was stabbed there last night 10/31. I heard a bunch of commotion so I opened my door which looked down into the lobby, and there was a guy laying on the floor bleeding everywhere, he'd been stabbed multiple times by a homeless guy staying at the hotel. The police and fire department responded quickly and we then were not able to leave our rooms for several hours.

SHAME ON THIS HOTEL. I WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN. During a pandemic, it is your responsibility as a business to require ALL guests wear masks. I felt VERY unsafe, and staff refused to be of assistance. They actually stood there maskless while I admonished other guests. Shame on him for standing there doing nothing. I moved to the Wingate by Wyndham next door, where they actually seemed to understand that mask wearing during a pandemic is NON-NEGOTIABLE.

The hotel is clean, comfortable beds. However, be prepared to spend extra money on breakfast. They have listed on websites that “breakfast is included.” However, it was disappointing the next morning they come and tell us no breakfast is being provided “because of covid precautions.” I’ve stayed at other hotels during covid and everything has been provided. They should take that off, you can’t advertise something is not real. Very disappointed.

The front desk clerk was rude. The room was filthy it looked like a pitbull chewed on all the furniture. The pillows had a hair all over them as well as blood stains and the bedspread sheets had not been changed from the prior guest. The TV was so blurry that you could not see it. I had read that the hotel is non-smoking however the entire second floor smelled like weed and cigarettes I tried to open our window to relieve us of some of the stench in the room but the screen had a huge slice in it and Let in all kinds of bugs. As for the amenities if you need a hooker or crack you could possibly get it in the parking lot or the second floor hallway.

Hotel needs some major updates. Room was huge and nice but was very dated.

Their breakfast bag was so poor. It was only a gas station style bun and a granolar bar with water. I refused to take it. They need a whole cleaning of the room also. It is dusty.

Booked the king suite with balcony and the entire room smelled like mold! The comforter had gum residue. The inside of the toilet was dirty. And they had the nerve to charge my card 16 $ dollars because i was 10 minutes late after a check out.
