Everything looked good, of course there were limitations due to covid but can’t blame them for it.

This was our second year in a row we have stayed at Lansdowne. The staff is beyond amazing and very friendly and helpful. The facility is supremely clean and the food at Piedmont’s is incredible. The grounds are very well maintained and beautifully landscaped. The gas fire pits are an added romantic touch for evening relaxation and the golf courses make for a wonderful attraction for those that play and the on-site pro shop is an added bonus. I was introduced to Lansdowne three years ago on a business trip and I have been in love with the resort ever since. If you are looking for a romantic getaway in Virginia wine country, this is it. My husband and I will not stay anywhere else. Our grandson even went so far as to make us promise to take him there this fall over a weekend....and he’s 6!

During my visit I experienced several bumps on my arm. When I returned home, I unpacked my bag and discovered a bug filled with blood.

Lovely property. Great location for a getaway. Wineries and restaurants close by.

I booked a room through a travel website. The room I reserved was different from the one that was available. The conciere Matt was great in changing our room to one with a balcony. It was a great experience overall.

Easy check in, no issues, staff are friendly and helpful.
