La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Wausau

Expedia was horrible to deal with, my family and i got to hotel, 10 pm and no reservation was found, made for a really bad situation with family really tired after traveling all day.

Bed was comfortable and room was a good size. Overall, the building was rather run-down and dirty-looking. As far as I could see, there was no elevator, so I had to drag my suitcase up the stairs. Service met expectations

100% Positive I left my tablet in the room. Called to see if anyone had found it and of course no one did. It was a nice tablet so I'm assuming someone kept it for themselves. Not going to be staying here again.

The place was dirty and rundown. I would never go back or recommend the place to anyone. 70 dollars was a rip off. Very disappointed.

A little disappointed with my stay. I had to sign a statement that I had to pay $250 if I smoked in my room. I was more than happy to oblige as I am a non-smoker. When I got to the room, there was a very heavy smoke smell to the room. A couple other small issues - 2 conditioners but no shampoo. A very large spider in the bathroom. Otherwise an OK stay.

The front desk was hit or miss of someone being there. Then he seemed quite clueless. All this wouldn't have been an issue at all but mine and all 3 of my daughters new swimsuits became bleached from the pool. All the color was stripped from them. My kids got that very water in their mouths and I was worried. When my husband told the front desk he didn't say anything. There's no reason the pool should be that bad that it bleached 4 suits. The hot tub was broken...no bubbles.

In town for a wedding. I called ahead to see if we could get early check in and tell them we had a little dog. They were all ready. Very accommodating.

It was fine. I liked the plex at the check-in counter & the masks required sign. I had a slightly noisy room maybe ten feet from the road, but otherwise everything was good. I love that La Quinta allows dogs, & I actually like it better with a relatively high added cost. It means a better class of dogs.
