Had to wait to 330 for room to be ready , room service also poor

The hotel bedroom is clean. Outdoor pool is very small and doesn’t look like it shows on photos. They had renovations happening during our stay which they never notified us about. Quite noisey when they do drilling.

Location was great despite the public holiday crowds and was a good venue for families because of the school holiday activities. The only downfall I would say is when we turned up to swim in the pool in the morning, the area was filthy. There were wet and dirty towels all around the pool area and rubbish everywhere. Despite this we stayed in the pool area for a good hour and the cleaning staff still didn't attend to the mess. I was woken up by renovation work and the workers setting up at about 7am. The whole floor was overtaken by workers and we felt like we were on a worksite when we left our room. It looked like the whole floor was being worked on and we were the only ones staying on the floor. It was very strange! The new facilities however and the restaurants downstairs are pretty good!

This is a great hotel to stay in coogee, close to the beach with its own pool and facilities. I got upgraded to an ocean view room which was fabulous especially as was the long weekend and was busy.

Parking is crazy! If you dont manage to bag one of the hotel parks (highly likely since they let the general public park there also), be prepared to walk!! The hotel itself was great. Nice and close to the beach etc. Only having 2 small lifts did mean you had to wait a while to get back up or down from your room when it was busy.
