The check in was very unorganized. Waited in line for an hour. Short staff in the cleaning dept.

Terrible

We did not even get to stay at the hotel. We went to check in and there was a line of at least 100 people waiting to check in. They did not have rooms ready so we were being put on a list to sit around and wait until we were called. After waiting 1.5 hours, we had to leave because the event we have to get ready for, the entire reason we were in town, was starting in an hour. It was extremely stressful having to leave and find another hotel and get ready in less that an hour. I am in the process of trying to get a refund but when I said this on the “chat” feature, they blocked me from responding. I wish someone would please take care of this.

When I got there around 4pm the line was almost equivalent to a theme park line. 3 groups in front of us said they were told an hour wait to be checked in. We left came back an hour and half later. Same line just 2 check ins smaller. I had to leave and went to a meeting 20 mins away got there, spent time and on the way back 5 mins away she finally got checked in.

Disappointed in Dallas!

Incredibly disappointing! First they gave away my room, they did upgrade us to a suite but this week did not have enough sleeping accommodations as did a two bedroom room. It had a pull out couch and when we were asking for linens for the pull out they explained they did not have any. Also the check in process was completely ridiculous. Will not stay again.

Check in Nightmare

Check-in was a nightmare. We drove up and the only option was valet, but we didn’t know this. We also didn’t know where to go for valet. We pulled up to the sign that says valet and waited there for 10 minutes. Finally a guy walks by our car and I had to ask him if he worked there (he didn’t ask me if I needed help), and he said he did. I said where do I park, and all he said was “right here.” At that point he told me I had to pull my car around to a different location. It would’ve helped if there were signs. We walked in and the line was out the door. But the worst part is that we literally stood in the same spot for literally 20 minutes. In Other words, the line wasn’t moving. We peaked inside and we saw that there was only one person working the front desk. My wife ended up walking over to the bar to get us a drink. And by the time we actually checked in she had me two more trips. The guy at the bar was really cool though. Finally come on and we checked out on Saturday morning, the front desk clerk didn’t even make eye contact with us. She just stared at her computer.

Great hotel clean and amazing staff

The staff here is amazing. So friendly and helpful. The restaurant food was. Thallus great and the service was first class. Our room was clean and comfortable. Size was good too. My only complaint is the walls are thin. But it was overall quiet we slept great and we will be back.

Subpar Hotel

This hotel used to be called the Magnolia and previous to that the Holiday Inn Express. Since changing names a few renovations have occurred but the main change seems to really just be increasing the price. The rooms themselves are "okay" there is nothing terrible to say other than the shower doors keep opening for no reason. The room would get too cold and the AC was too loud. However, the real problem is the front door staff are extremely unhelpful and overall just not customer friendly. When requesting a late check-out their response was "We can do 11:30". Thanks for the 30 minutes.

Lovely place to stay. Super comfortable, clean and nicely decorated. The restaurant has very good food. Looking forward to being back to this lovely hotel.
