Marcella Royal Hotel

The check-in was efficient and trouble free, location of the hotel is good. Breakfast food selection could be improved and a self-service tea/coffee facility should be available in the room (although, they made it available via room-servce upon request). Evening bar/dinner selection is very limited, so perhaps not good idea to rely on it after a long day. The front desk staff should know and provide information about good restaurants - both italian & non-italian; this would have helped us immensely (in particular, when you don't have a fixed plan with young children). Overall, we had a plesant experience.

Great place to stay. It's centrally located within the city. We actually walked to the Vatican and the Coliseum. Breakfast was also great. Live entertainment on the terrace in the evening.

Good hotel, big clean room and nice bathroom. 15 mins walk to Termini and Repubblica station. Staff were friendly. Check in was bit chaotic and it would be nice to have the big keys replaced by electronic key cards. There were some nice restaurants near the property and the roof top was nice. Would have given it 5 stars if the hotel gave complimentary water, tea coffee with kettle in the room, could have offered a bit more variety in breakfast (scrambled eggs were in the same dish as bacon, it would be nice to be considerate towards vegetarian people). The street can get noisy at night and early morning.

Loved this hotel!! Great location, great view from the rooftop restaurant and great staff! Will stay here every time I visit Rome!!!

Right from check-in, the service could not be faulted. Very central location for all of the tourist spots.

The rooms are small for a triple. The shower even smaller to shower and use loo and change when sharing a triple room. The breakfast was simple. The restaurant and bar overpriced and not worth spending your time In when you consider the effort local restaurants make with the interior this has nothing to offer. Even the roof terrace which in the rain should have remained covered was left exposed during our visit The staff are friendly but as always you are let down by the product. Good location so we walked to all attractions as you can from most of the city

Beautiful rooftop patio. Big local taxes...be aware

close to train and metro stops. Lots of restaurants nearby. Staff really helpful and courteous.
