Drury Inn & Suites Joplin

Was in town for business, the staff always goes out of the way to ensure guests are comfortable. And even with covid, my stay again was absolutely perfect.

The man at the counter was rude. The room was shoved off in a corner but super noisy in the morning. Hairdryer was covered in dust. We love to stay at drury this just wasn't a great experience

Driving from Minneapolis to Dallas. We have stayed in Joplin several times. Deity has recently been remodeled and is very nice inside. Both the rooms and common areas are nice. It was quiet and the staff were very friendly. I was surprised they actually had a breakfast. That’s unusual these days.

This is by far the nicest, cleanest place we've stayed during covid times. Free dinner was excellent (and three free drinks is a nice touch after a hard day on the road) and hot breakfast was welcome.

Great hotel! I do wish there was a restroom closer to the pool. Had to get all my kiddos out to take 1 kid to the restroom. Not a big deal, but having one closer would be more convenient.

We chose the Drury because of the King Suite with a door. Most other hotels did not offer that, and traveling with our teenaged son, it worked well for us. We stayed eight nights and observed every staff member to be polite, accommodating, and very kind. The pull out couch was not comfortable, and the king bed frankly wasn't a lot better, but the room was large and otherwise well furnished. We remedied the sleeping comfort issues with air mattresses from the local sporting goods store. The beds are a big deal, but in all other ways the stay was very comfortable. The breakfast was complete (eggs, biscuits, gravy, potatoes, sausage, oatmeal), without all the sugar that "continental" breakfasts provide. And the soda machine was great for me because I'm not a coffee drinker. We even enjoyed the evening "snacks" on a couple of occasions. A couple of chicken strips and a cup of chili was pleasant to come back to on a chilly afternoon. We didn't participate, but I'm sure the evening complimentary cocktail is a treat, too. I'm not sure we ever got a complete cleaning during our eight days, but the bathroom was cleaned and we tried to keep things tidy. The staff here is so very kind! Liz on the overnight shift was particularly so. She solicited our comfort at every turn and was nothing but sweet and friendly every time we saw her. Can't say enough good things about all of the staff! If I was just staying a night and looking for a great bed, maybe not, but for a long stay, YES!

Loved the food and the cooks and front desk people were extremely helpful and friendly.

Super clean and convenient, delicious hot breakfast. Bed was comfortable and even the sheets smelled good. Shower was fantastic.
