Covid Sucks, but Drury in Marion IL is great.

I couldn't be much happier with Drury Inn in Marion Illinois. Check in was seamless, fast and the staff was always courteous. There were methods employed to keep us safe from Covid-19. The room was exceptionally clean. I appreciate the sealed plastic bag covering the TV remote. The bathroom was exceptionally clean also. The food service quality and cleanliness was very good as well. I feel no review is complete without some negatives, no matter how slight. With that said, here are the two items I found that weren't 6/5 stars. In past stays, we always got a dual queen room. This time we got a king room. I think the queen mattresses are slightly better. My wife didn't think there was enough difference to mention it. The other item was the body wash soap dispenser didn't work in the shower. I just used shampoo all over and let the counter clerk know as we were checking out the next morning. I agree, these are rather petty negatives, but that should tell you how high I had to set my standards to find any negatives at all. We had a great stay and will definitely be back soon.

Great service and accomodations

Really nice staff that go out of their way for you. I dealt with two gentleman and a young lady up front over my stay, and all three were really great. The room seemed cleaned and disinfected which gave me a sense of security. The buffet breakfast and dinner (both included, as well as three drink coupons!) were good. The bed was comfortable and the shower was strong and hot. Convenient to everything (Marion is not that big) and right off the 24 highway. I would stay here again and also will be looking into other Drury hotels on my travels. Thx.

Excellent staff and clean, but condition of building is deteriorating compared to 2.5 star hotels nearby.

This hotel is working very hard to make people feel good about travel during Covid shutdowns. They are going out of their way to provide food and beverage that can be taken to the room to consume so real hospitality.

Thoroughly impressed!!

Such an amazing stay!! The staff and room was really nice, but the best part of it all, was waking up and getting ready to leave on to final destination and they had a wonderful HOT breakfast for us to take WITH a soda machine! This is unheard of nowadays since covid started. I am thoroughly impressed and would definitely stay there again.

Great Roadside Hotel

Solid hotel right off the interstate. Clean, easy access and lots of parking. We where in the middle of a move and parking our 20ft truck was very easy. We arrived to late and left too early for the free food, but there’s tons of restaurants in the area. The room was a little small, but we did book the Queen room option and it was only one night. Overall, very solid overnight stay with our cats. If I had to do the drive again I would book there.

Highly recommend

We had a great stay. The staff was super friendly. Even with everything going on with Covid they made the stay great! The rooms were very clean and the food was good.
