Maritim Hotel & Internationales Congress Center Dresden

My family of four stayed 6 nights at the Maritim while we explored Dresden and the surrounding area. The location and condition of the hotel where perfect. The staff was helpful and efficient.

We had an amazing weekend stay at the Maritim. Excellent room, very spacious, and clean. Service in the restaurant and bar area was very good. We would come back here again. Loved that we were so close to the sites, and easy walk even on a rainy day.

Overall, my family had a pleasant experience at Maritim. The immediate surrounding area is not impressive, but the hotel is just a couple blocks walk to historic Dresden and the back of the hotel leads to a beautiful walkway following the river. There is plenty of parking in the garage, which is located immediately underneath the hotel (unlike the hotel we stayed at in Munich). The hotel is one of the stops for the 'hop on/hop off' bus, which we greatly enjoyed. We requested adjoining rooms; this did not happen but our rooms were on the same floor. I will also mention that the pillows were too soft; however, I did not call the front desk to see if there were other options for pillows. I would definitely stay again (but bring my own pillow) as the price of this hotel is excellent for the close location to historic Dresden.

Loved the Hotel. The pool and Sauna rose the relaxation to the next level. The Piano bar was a nice place to grab a glass of wine and listen to some wonderful piano playing.

Wonderful stay. Large room that was very quiet. Airtight windows and top quality features. Comfortable furniture. The breakfast buffet was great. Staff was helpful and friendly. Situate right on the bike path - bikes at the hotel that you can rent - very bike friendly city. Amazing city that has been rebuilt. Nice that it is a little out of the main drag. It is quiet - can sit and watch the river and look at the beautiful buildings across town that are lit up at night. There was a big festival the last night with loud rock music but at 10:00PM the music stopped and it quieted right down.

Second time at this hotel, this time not a business trip. Awesome room, nice staff and close to attractions for walking. Overall an excellent experience for the whole family. Would recommend staying there.

It’s a nice location about a 15 minute walk from the town

Hotel located on the river Elbe. Rooms were large and very comfortable. Staff were very good and friendly. Only negative was that it was a 10 - 15 minute walk from closest train station
