Hampton Inn Ruston

This was a rough place to stay. I was traveling back after hurricane Laura hit. This was the only place to stay that wasn’t sold out. The elevator wasn’t working when we first arrived but the front desk guy did help me get my stuff upstairs which was nice. I was in a room with a sofa bed and a king bed. There was only one pillow per person on the king size bed and my son who slept on the sofa bed had no pillow at all. I found 2 different bugs crawling in the bathroom. The bed was super hard. And the floors were so disgusting. My toddler refused to put her shoes on to walk around and after 5 mins of her walking around on the carpet her feet were BLACK on the bottom. It was nasty. Overall we just needed a place to sleep so it served that purpose but definitely wouldn’t be a place I’d want to go back to. Especially since the rate after the hurricane was like $175 a night. SO NOT worth it.

Enjoyed our stay. Location was great and staff was friendly.

Overall this hotel kind of dingy. It's just in need of some upgrading. For the price they are charging, they probably want to be sure that there isn't grime on the tile floors and stains on the carpet. On the bright side, the staff is great.

I felt very comfortable staying at the Hampton Inn durning the pandemic. The front staff were friendly to me and my dog.

The check in process was smooth and easy but once we got to our room the tv wouldn’t work, the phone was out and the bed was hard. The room was not nearly as clean as most Hampton Inns we have visited before. The front desk clerk attempted tot fix the tv but that was only temporary and she was unable to ge the phone working. On top of all that she was the only employee on property so it was difficult for her to be the front desk clerk and maintenance

Night clerk wasn’t friendly. Hotel wasn’t as clean as most Hamptons we’ve stayed in. Room was comfortable and would stay here again if we’re back in Ruston again.

It was nice overall.

Convenient great staff breakfast leaves a lil to be desired

The hotel overall was fine, I just happened to be on the third (top) floor near the elevator and until 1:00 a.m. in the morning some "adult children" were laughing and cutting up right outside my door.
