AC Will Not Go Below 20C

Americans beware: every room has AC but you cannot set the temperature. Each room will show 20C but the AC never turns on to actually lower the room temperature. Also, this hotel has a $25euro fee for early check-in.

Unless you like living in an oven

The hotel is right at the corner of a T-junction. Service wasn't that great. Probably due to the high energy cost, the hotel AC is centrally turned OFF. The fan though works is useless, not a trickle of breathable air. German apartment & hotel sound and climate isolation is top-notch. This hotel is exactly like a greenhouse and the sun is directly on the hotel. No AC means the whole place is a greenhouse, humid, hot and stuffy. I couldn't sleep. Sweating profusely despite opening the window. Other guests also experience the same. To make matters worst. WIFI was down. Heard it failed frequently on the weekends. Several guests including ourselves had to sneak into nearby hotel to get wifi to do our eMed covid test & airline check-in process. The managers were not apologetic and at best incompetent. couldn't help. The only saving grace was one of their staff, Malin. He was a superstar and the only person who knew how to handle the angry guests. He offered us a coffee, listen and calm us down. Though not much was sympathetic to the sleepless night. Check the hotel's energy-saving criteria. The other hotel we stay in only have energy saving in the lobby and we still get AC in the room.

The entire Hotel was shut down- there was no communication letting us know that they were not operational!! When we out there the hotel was closed- no one answered our call. After 10-15 minutes of waiting outside - we reasoned that there was a letter by the manager on the front door - typed in German only stating that due to illness the hotel was shut down for few days!!

Our drive to Munich Airport, December 2021

Road trip to Munich Airport to drop off a friend and stayed overnight before driving on to France. It was a pleasant stay, check in and out was a breeze, Pepe’ recommended a great restaurant for dinner and his wife made delicious treats after our dinner at the bar. Hotel staff are wonderful people providing great customer services. The room is small and cozy, clean and comfortable. I have stayed here several times while in the Munich Airport area and love it every time.

I booked this hotel based on the reviews I read but was disappointing.. the stuff who checked me in did not care with helping me find the room . Room sizes are very small and you end up paying more than booking another property
