Red Lion Hotel Kalispell

Not great

Was not the best stay. my granddaughter . age 17 was attacked outside your front door by three adult ladies. There were no video camera’s to capture what happened we did not feel safe after the incident. I feel , I feel I should be refund for my stay. The security there obviously wasn’t good.

Fell way short, go somewhere else!

Tried to cancel one night of reservation & the hotel said they would get back to hotels.com in 72 hours on whether or not they would allow a refund (how does that help me, by that time my trip was over). Then went to check into my reservation on night 2 of my trip figuring if I was going to pay for it anyway, I might as well use it, but was rudely told by the receptionist that since I “no showed” on night 1 I couldn’t check in for the remainder of my trip. I had already paid for 2 nights, why can’t I stay the second night? “Sorry, I don’t know what to tell you” is the only help the receptionist gave me also while glancing at the click as if to indicate I was wasting her time. I left and drove 20 minutes to a friend’s house. Called hotels.com and they called the hotel and requested a refund for me (they were great). 20 min later the same receptionist calls to te me she called the manger and I’m approved to stay the night. I asked for a refund instead in which she replied she would have to have the manager call me. It’s been 4 days - still no call and no refund. I would steer clear of this hotel. There are nicer hotels in the area for the same price that don’t give you the run around. The Hilton Garden Inn accommodated me, provided excellent customer service, and changed my reservation at 3am when I needed a room change due to a friends snoring without charging me extra. Recommend going there!

Nice stay.

Nice facilities. Clean, spacious, close to everything. Bed was very comfortable. A little noisy from nearby traffic. Short staffed, so access to room was delayed 30 mins after advertised check-in. Breakfast was good, but plates were very small. Coffee was good.

Hear the ROAR and stay at Red Lion

Clean and comfortable KING room. Walk in shower with good pressure and fluffy towels. Breakfast is from 6-9am and while it’s a few more steps past the lobby, the fresh scrambled eggs, frenchtoast, biscuits and gravy are on point and included in the price of the stay.

Huge Room!

Red Lion was a great stay, fast and Friendly guest services, the hotel is connected to a mini mall which is a quick adventure. Room was huge! Great stay. Starbucks in parking lot was a plus for the fam.

Our favorite in Kalispell!

Room was clean, quiet, well appointed, smelled good and way bigger than we are used to in a hotel room. Love the sun-lit atrium where breakfast was available. Multiple entrances and ample parking make it convenient to come and go. Hotel is pet friendly, but we were surprised that the pet fee had more than tripled since our last visit. (not listed on the web site)

Overall good! We stayed 3 nights, great location, near good restaurants. Room was very clean, and breakfast was really good!

Disappointed

The front end staff were not helpful at all .. only the afternoon girl and shuttle driver tried to help us the cost for a small dog is terrible price.. very disappointed. So I would not recommend this hotel

no warm welcome for you

We had always heard that the Red Lion was a very nice hotel. We had past by lower cost hotels since we both wanted to try the hotel. There were quite a few other hotels that we were familiar with such as Econo Lodge, Super 8, Hampton Inn, even Motel 6. We have stayed Hampton Inn numerous times in West Jordan Utah. So my comparison was with Hampton Inn, Hampton in has am much better complimentary breakfast that Red Lion was not very good. They had you use paper plates that were so thin it would not hold any food on it. We ate fairly early. it was not well arranged. The biscuits were very stale, Varity of food was not good. Hampton Inn was warm and felt more accepting of us.. The pillows on the bed really sucked. I hardly slept all night . I asked in the morning what happened to a real bed pillow.. the pillows looked like a euro pillow. enough complaining
