Best Western Plus Ogallala Inn

We just stayed last night. Its a very new hotel. Was very clean, bed very comfy. Fluffy pillows. We take this trip regularly. Will stay there again.

The hotel was new, clean and beautiful. My frustration was that we specifically chose this hotel because we could book a queen suite, so that we had enough beds for our family of six. When we arrived after a long day at the Lake, they told us they did not have the room we had booked. They gave us a king suite, with one bed and a sofa bed. When I told the front desk clerk that there weren’t enough beds for my four kids, the only offered us a blow up mattress. The next day my husband spoked to the manager to explain our frustration. They only took $20 off the overall bill. I think they could have done better to make their mistake right.

The facility seemed pretty new, and the room was large and comfortable.

We got in late apparently so did everyone else. The check in line went out the door. The desk clerk never faultered, everyone was checked in within 10 minutes and i think with a smile. With the mask you never know. The room was nice as always and warm breakfast was back

Very nice hotel. Location was great. Room was large and very nice. Pool was clean and nice. Could have been a tad bit warmer.

Very nice hotel. Only complaint is showerhead. It needs a softer, gentler spray. Very nice breakfast with pleasant and efficient server.

Having a pool and free breakfast are always two key things for our family, which this place has. Staff was very friendly. Special shout-out to the lady who served breakfast in the morning (keep up the good work!). Cleanliness was the only worry I had. Our room had a stain on one bedspread and dry cereal in all the couch cushions. Despite the stated claim that the pool was cleaned every 2 hours, we never saw it (not saying it didn't happen, just that we didn't see it, and we were there past closing time). Despite all of that, I would stay there again if we are ever back in the area.

Precautions regarding covid were well considered and the hotel was extremely clean. However the placement of the guests was not thought out at all. My wife and I were placed in the middle of a large group that we're obviously traveling together. Throughout the night they were in and out of each other's hotel rooms and slamming doors, prank knocking on each other's doors until about 1am. One of the rooms had an obvious party going on that included singing, dancing and loud obnoxious laughing. We called the front desk twice in an effort to get the group to quiet down so we could sleep. They finally stopped at 1am and we were leaving at 5am to get on the road.
