Hyatt Place Birmingham/Inverness

We recently stayed at this hotel and had a great experience. At first I was hesitant to book a room as the price was pretty low for a Hyatt; however, I took my chances and decided to reserve a room for my husband and 3 kids. The room was very spacious, in good condition and clean. Hosts were friendly and the service was really good. The hotel is located off of a busy main street with lots of options for dining and shopping. I would recommend this hotel to other guests.

There is not enough security at this facility. We checked in late doors stayed open all night kinda scary. The charge for incidental nightly which was $50 a night like a 5 star hotel it was ridiculous and they didn’t even tell me they were charging my card. Will not stay here again. There was popcorn ceiling like back In the 90’s. And date rooms that were upgraded but you can see the oldness

The king suite was excellent layout furnishing and build quality I'm a high end remodeling contractor Nice and quite a little noise from the AC compressor sounds like a bearing is going bad

Friendly staff

The location was great ... the room was great ... the only thing I wish it had was a microwave in the room. Also, I wish the bathroom toilet and vanity were in one private room so after showering I could change in privacy. the breakfast was awful. If you book your hotel thinking you will get some nourishment for breakfast this hotel is not it. The coffee was awful too. But if you are not a breakfast person then this hotel is good for the price.

It was clean and neat with local channels. Guest services fixed our problems quick. Will stay again.

Perfect location off the main highway! The rooms were spacious and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. They even had a breakfast during covid. Five stars!

Las habitaciones son muy lindas, modernas, limpias y cómodas. Lo que me incomoda un poco es el olor a humedad que sientes desde que llegas al hotel. Los ruidos de otras habitaciones se escuchan muy fuertes en la habitación. Pero por lo general muy buena la experiencia.

Had to switch rooms, night shift staff was not engaged. First room tv And phone did not work and had to request change of room. Second room toilet did not work correct along with air conditioning and door handle. Overall worse stay at Hyatt I have experienced.

Nice place. One of the rooms outleta didn't work. Both rooms A/C units wouldn't turn on during the night, making the rooms hot at night. Didn't get much sleep.
