Lafayette Hotel

The location was excellent- couldn't have been better. However the room was very dated and worn out. Our suite with mini-bar had nothing- no napkins, no utensils, no paper plates- nothing. Asking the front desk yielded a stupified response like no one had ever asked that before.

The room need to be updated for the amount of money they charge.

The hotel is very nice. The room was super clean and the bed was very comfortable.

We saw Bottle caps underneath the coffee table, they were lots of food evidence all over the carpets. The bathroom had hair on the tub edge and in the sink. This was shortly after Mardi Gras so it could have been The reason for the non-cleanliness. The front desk attendant Ryan was very accommodating. However it’s valet parking and when I checked in the girl at the front desk told me if I didn’t like the $45 bill a party I can go around the corner to the Parkade for $30. I think parking should be absorbed by the hotel.

I liked the location. Convenient to several venues.

It was a great stay. Plan to be there again in near future.

Vintage details with modern conveniences at this 1916 Gem on the Parade Route! Shout out to Johnette and all the "krewe". Professional but not uptight embodies the Big Easy style. Clean and stylish Highly Recommended
