Holiday Inn Express Fayetteville- Univ of AR Area

The rooms were large and the room had two king sized beds which is what drew me to the property initially. The bathroom, however, was in poor condition. The tile was chipping away from the the tub surround and the caulking was absent from the space between the tub and the floor. It just wasn’t very pleasant aesthetically. Also the area where the hotel is located is in no way walkable which is a huge negative for me.

The staff was wonderful and the room was clean. That being said the room was run down. No fan or heat in the small bathroom so a shower meant the bathroom was dripping wet for hours afterwards. Wallpaper peeling and fixtures in bad shape. Attempts to repair were amateurish and shoddily done. The bed linens were clean but stained. The mattress was sunken in the middle. Chipped cabinets, cabinet doors crooked. Due to covid there was no promised breakfast. You would think if they advertise breakfast as part of your stay they would at least offer a packaged muffin or yogurt or something. It wasn’t the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in but I’d sure look elsewhere next time.

They are not serving breakfast because of covid. I understand that , but they should advise people that the are not serving breakfast because I would have gone to a different hotel. I feel they could have done given us the option to pre order maybe or at least fruit.

Bed where a little too firm. Very nice hotel and clean.

First room had been smoked in and commode didn’t work. 2nd room had, at one time, a water leak and ceiling and wall was still messed up. Stay away from this place.

Good location. Excellent shower! Nice big beds. Very clean.

Surprised to find our room, priced average for the area, was an incredibly roomy suite! This made our evening in the room with two kids so nice and easy.
