Overall it was great!! We picked up a 2 yr old rescue dachshund in Columbus texas to be rehoused in Monroe. We met the new owner in Alexandria la.

Our stay at the hotel made us feel like we were imposing on them and their property. The front desk clerks were obviously put out by us being there. The front door was locked at 6pm when we arrived (and throughout our stay) and they seemed perturbed that they would have to open the door from the inside before we had a key card to let ourselves in. The worst part, for me, was that they came knocking on our room before checkout time to find out if we were leaving! First of all, we clearly put the Do Not Disturb sign out, and secondly, it wasn’t check out time yet! I just really felt like you did not want our business and congratulations - you won’t ever have it again! In addition, the shower looked like it had not been properly cleaned, which is unfortunate. It made me question how clean the rest of the room was.

Room was comfortable and reasonably clean. The tile entryway could use a mopping, but otherwise good.

this location has some serious maintance problems. the lavatory was not working no water would come out. Called desk was told no one available to fix it tried to switch my room.I had checked in later and needed to just unpack and leave for a funeral. Checked to room she asked us to move into Air heat was not working properly room freezing cold and controls would not work.so we stayed in first room . !room 203 2 room 209. bath tum surface is peeling badly and looks terrible can't tell if this mold just dirty or because surface is peeling.pieces of tub peelings in bathroom floor.Did not receive wakeup call I had asked for also

Our room was equipped with one towel for three people to share and hairdryer. When I went to the front desk at 6 in the morning to get more towels and a hairdryer the front desk lady said she would be up. When we checked out at 9 we still had not seen her. The room was dirtyand had a funny smell.

We stayed one night sincce we were traveling and this was not our destination. The room was very nice and quiet, but for some reason neither my husband nor I slept very well.

Really nice place for the value. Beds are hard and pillows are worse but would stay here again.
