Quality Inn & Suites Lufkin

Sorry to say I thought the pictures of the place were current but the hotel was dirty and old. With covid going on they could have at least updated the rooms during the slow months. I guess they really don't care about quality even if it isn't important.

Last minute reservation to evacuate and they were able to accommodate my animals.

Excellent courtesy will surely stay here again, if we were to come to lufkin dor another tournament

Had to make 4 trips over a 2 night stay to get the room key to work. Then the toilet wouldn’t flush, so when they fixed it while I was gone for the day, it must have overflowed and the left the wet dirty towels in the floor All day until I arrived at 8 pm that night and removed them myself. The only positive thing I can say is the bed was comfortable.

After driving 12 hours from NM for my Nephews funeral we were ready to settle in and have a shower. we had reserved two rooms. the first room the shower was clogged the manager did come and use a plunger but could not get it unclogged, he did offer to let us use another rooms shower but it was across the property. the beds were terrible there was a metal piece sticking out of the bed frame and we kept hitting our legs on apparently it was broken because we kept sinking in the middle. The second room smelt real musky/moldy and I seen a roach on the night stand. we reported it to the manager the next morning and were told we could not get any refund or discount since we had slept in the beds. will not ever recommend it ever!!

I booked 3 rooms for myself and family. Check in was easy. Very nice lady. Rooms were fine. Pool was very good! All our bunch enjoyed it very much!

Booked for 2 nights over a weekend for a local event we were attending. Came in a day early and decided to pay separate for the additional day we arrived early on. Girls at the counter said they were new and would call the manager to ask how to do that. Not sure why they didn’t just charge me for that night but instead they switched my dates on my original reservation. And I didn’t find out until they called me while I was at my event saying, your supposed to check out today, mind you - it’s a day early. I left my event and drove back to the hotel office immediately. Where the counter person told me they switched my reservation dates. Not sure how this is my problem when I CLEARLY communicated I wanted to add a day to my reservation and was happy to prepay for that early day arrival. But somehow that got lost in translation and I was made to feel like I’m the one at fault. The room was basic and not very clean. Toilet was running all night and When pulling the know to activate the shower, it only engaged about halfway. Tub fills with water for pretty much a “shower bath” happening. Towels also had some stains on them as well. If it wasn't for the inconvenience of having to deal with their mess up on my reservation, I’d most likely be a little (I mean little” more forgiving on the room conditions.

The 1st Room we got smelled like mildew we leave for 6 hours come back and it smells like skunk so we change rooms for us and go up to the New Room guy sitting at the next door by our Room and says I hope you are not going to bed we are partying all night I have 11 year old son was me "ITS LIKE 130 AM ALL READY and the key wouldnt work so i go back down and get other room. Get to the new room. And the AC OFF and its deen 100 outside all day. We finally went to sleep at 330 am.
