Americas Best Value Inn Heflin

I have stayed at this hotel several times before I always travel with my dog and they have a nice area to walk her and play ball with her. It is always clean and check in is a breeze. The o lu issue I had was the frig in room 27 was not cold enough and even when I made it colder it never got cold. Other than that it was a nice stay. Alway quite.

The bed was a little too firm for our liking. Otherwise the room was excellent.

Room was nice and clean, staff very friendly. Bed was really hard. Very firm. Hard to stay comfortable on. All in all not a bad place.

Do not travel to this hotel without your own towels and pillows- everything else was great! We went to an event at Bennett flats and this hotel was totally convenient!

It was a last minute choice near Oxford, AL. But, comfortable, if very basic, with pleasant front desk help. You Do need bring your own hair dryer as not every room is equipped. Also, carpets are in need of removal -- am allergic to dust mites. But cleanliness was the rule. Oh, and bring your own pillows, theirs are a bit thin. Overall, better than expected for the price.

Room was OK except it smelled heavily of smoke and had ashtrays in it.

I was pleasantly surprised by this place. The motel is a little dated but looks can be deceiving, which was nice in this case. The staff was friendly while checking in and checking out. The facility is a little dated, but clean and well maintained. The room was very clean and the bed was comfy. There were no issues with the wifi and having direct TV in the room was a nice touch. It was a surprisingly quiet location, especially considering how close it is to the interstate and a major US highway. The most noise I heard outside the room was from the crickets, which was especially surprising for a Saturday night. They have a nice outdoor seating area with a grill which would be nice for relaxing. The only room option available for what we picked was a smoking room. Typically we always choose a non-smoking room and were expecting the room to reek of cigarette smoke when we checked in, but surprisingly, there was no odor in the room, which speaks for how well the rooms are cleaned. The motel is a little hard to find because of how the road is laid out but Google maps got us there with no issues. It's in one those quiet small towns, so keep in mind that most things close early and there aren't many dining options without traveling to the next town over, so you'll want to plan ahead a little. It's nothing fancy, but overall it was a great place to stay and we would definitely stay there again!

For the money paid, I got everything I needed. The room was clean, the bathroom was fresh, as were the sheets and towels - and during this pandemic, this is no small thing! All in all
