Century Plaza Hotel & Spa

I love that the room has a kitchenette, very convenient, close to lots of stores but gets a little noisy due to ambulance going to the hospital.

It was good. Most staff was friendly except the front check in girl. Not very friendly. Not much personality. Overall everything was good.

Front desk excellent service. Staff for dinner and breakfast take out were extremely rude and whilst I know we were in a pandemic really impacted our overall experience. Good family break, huge rooms and great views. Hotel is tired but we received a free upgrade, breakfast and food credit so it was extremely good value.

Amazing view from floor 19. Room was very nice with kitchenette and all the comfort : comfortable bed, wasnt noisy, free breakfast hot or cold your choice ! People were very friendly, Free parking which is rare in downtown and right in the heart of downtown easy to get out of the center from there.

Hotel was good, perfect location, staff were friendly and we got an upgraded room at no extra charge and we didn't even ask. My one complaint is the hotel as opposite St Paul's Hospital and there are lots of sirens at night.

Check-in was good, and did appreciate the hotel parking included in the price. Rooms are a little dated and could use an upgrade. The toilet seat in the bathroom was not cleaned properly, which makes me question the cleanliness elsewhere in the hotel. The woman at the breakfast counter was rude. No good morning or hello, straight away went to ask what I wanted. To top it off, has a tip jar for pouring coffee and putting a croissant in a paper bag. I understand the limitations given the pandemic, but the hotel can definitely make the breakfast a little better. Perhaps a takeaway container, with having 1 or 2 options to choose from, ie. Scrambled eggs, hashbrown and a toast.

It was very close to St Paul’s Hospital which is why I selected this hotel. However my room was extremely cold. Maintenance could not repair the problem and brought a small heater to my room. The heater stopped working after one hour. Finally I put my jacket on so I could sleep and in the end slept 2 hours and 14 minutes according to my Fitbit! Not rested like I need to be the following day. They did offer good value in terms of room rate with parking included but I still would not stay again.

Barely there windows, let all the cold air in, heat didn’t work the last two days, brown water in bathroom, no hot water, did get luke warm after running for 25mins. Unfortunately the only positive thing I can say about the hotel is the waiter in the restaurant is a complete jem and he made my stay worth the other issues we had and the food was amazing

Excellent value and great location. Restaurant and breakfast service was really good as well. Will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Vancouver
