Ramada by Wyndham Pinewood Park Resort North Bay

The garbage can hadn't been emptied. The decor is tired and could do with a paint job. The ceiling in the shower is flaking and weird. The pillows are uncomfortable THe front desk staff were amazing.

Very easy simple stay

Very clean property. Staff were very pleasant to deal with. Room was a good, standard size. Alot nothing much to eat on the property besides vending machines however our stay is during the pandemic. I was pleased with their COVID 19 prevention measures. The rooms are cleaned very well. They are doing a good job there.

Internet cut out over 20 seconds. Room smelled like an ashtray. Waited for 10 mins to be seated in restursnt because hostess was on her phone no one else in there. Food didnt taste very good.

Worked for a quick stay on our way somewhere. Bed large and comfy. Toilet seat broken, and anchor points not terribly clean. Holes in shower curtain.

The staff were very pleasant. The restaurant could use more staff in the mornings at least as the woman apologized for delays stating she was also cooking the food. The food was good. The hotel is in need of some work and you could see it is being done. The pool is heated and even though it was only 12 degrees outside in the morning, the pool was good. My room was spacious and comfortable. It was a standard king room with a sofa, desk, and bed. The bed was firmer than I prefer but okay. The room was clean but a couple of spots could use attention. I think all cleaners should sit on the toilet and look at what the guest sees. I really don't want to know what was splashed on the wall opposite the toilet, but it didnt look pleasant. Drawbacks: 1. There were rowdy men on the main floor outside their rooms in the late hours ... past 11 pm. It made it hard to read a book before turning in for the night. A complaint to the desk didn't help. 2. I had...or thought I had...a late check out. My key card was deactivated before I had all my stuff out, more than a full hour before my 1:00 pm checkout time.

Pretty aged but friendly staff. Our AC didn't work.

This hotels claims to have a pool and to have food on location. This is not the case. It is very much old fashioned and in need of major upgrade. We slept well and the hotel is very quiet but it is not worth the high price at all. As for Covid-19: It is not following basic procedures like having doors proped open to let natural air flow. We had to open and turn knobs to five doors before arriving to the door of our hotel room. No hand sanitizer was offered at any of these points. The room has a door to an outside patio but the window was not open to refresh the air particals and we had to find chairs and a table and was them. It also is missing a sofa.

Under renovation and is being done poorly. Cheap shower insert overtop existing old, mold covered caulk and tile. Insert not even attached properly, shower curtain old with holes and very dirty. Rips in carpet. At least bedding seemed fresh and clean. Exterior of hotel was under repair but that didn’t effect our stay. Hopefully someone is inspecting ongoing work so these imperfections are repaired or re-done.

We had no toilet paper upon arrival. The rooms are very outdated. The bed was comfortable. They let snowmobilers park right outside the window, which was horrible when they start the machines up at 730am. We were NOT happy.
