DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Nanuet

Every thing was great . Only thing is that many hotels including this one don’t clean out their air conditioning filters. I tend to do as soon as I walk in and also spray them with disinfectant. It just makes me feel more comfortable about being out and about. Pool was opened which was great but some of those windows need to be opened for ventilation.

The room on the first floor that we had was basically in a basement with little light. Had a dungeon feel to it. Wallpaper was hanging off the wall. That wasn’t the worst part. Shower head had absolutely no pressure to it. Barely could wash my hair or body. Then when you came out of the shower you were greeted by an entire pool of water on the rest of the bathroom floor. Had only 2 body towels and had to use them to mop the floor. Asked one of the housekeepers for towels and she didn’t have any. And to top it off didn’t receive any cookies upon check in. Not sure if that was due to coronavirus or not but the other people who I knew that stayed there said they gave them out.

Everything was great. Sealed sanitized door. Comfortable beds. Clean room. Large mirror outside of bathroom is always nice. Could use some extra lighting in the room but that's basically every hotel.

Absolutely loved it. The staff is awesome and the area is beautiful no complaints from me

The stay was horrible. We ordered a room that they did not have. Received a room that was the only one left. The whirlpool tub they had in the room was not serviceable and they told us we could not be offered anything else because we booked through hotels.com. Worst experience for my daughters birthday ever. No breakfast available and no supplement for the cost. Unacceptable.

My room was very clean and comfortable, but it was a little rundown compared to the hotel overall I thought the room was going to be in better condition. The room definately could us an update, some of the wallpaper was peeling and scratched and the bathroom ceiling chipping. Other than that the family was pleased with the pool and the surrounding area offers plenty of eating and shopping so we’d return again when visiting the area.
