Clocktower Inn Ventura

We went with friends to a food and wine pairing dinner in Ventura and stayed one night here. It was both parties first time. Chris at the front desk accommodated is very well as we requested our rooms to be next to each other. We were also able to check in early. The hotel is an older hotel and has some charm. Although both rooms had balconies, they faced the (dirty) tile roof. The railing around the balcony was dusty and needed cleaning as well. Our beds were quite comfortable, sheets were clean.

No fruit for breakfast. The clerk gave the coffee but not wearing gloves. They don’t wear mask, when they go out The counter. I can hear the toilet flush in the other room

Hotel was nice but there were some homeless people in the parking lot they should clear out. Nice restaurant

Not swanky but quaint. Comfortable and clean.It is located within hearing distance of a bar where people have a good time Friday and Saturday evening so if you cannot sleep join them. The service was good, they did their best with all the covid restrictions- clean and safe.

well the room was extremely musty smelling. Asked for some type of spray or something with no avail. Water on the floor in the corridor and i fell and hurt my knee with no help from staff. Amy is friendly. Manager is friendly but did not seem to have a desire to help my situation.

The bed was UNCOMFORTABLE. And I think this goes for every room because they had to switch our room at a point due to the air conditioning not working in the initial room we were placed in. It has a smell like a casino in Vegas would. Staff was very nice though. But for parking, it’s a small parking so if it gets filled, you’ll have to park on the street. Also, a lot of homeless people sleep on the edge of that parking lot as well.

The staff here is amazing, I had stolen property from my last stay that was not even their fault, but they still intercepted my items from the theif that took them and held them for me for a whole week in their office only to surprise me with them upon my next check in. Best.Staff.Ever!

The hotel was located in a great area. Walking distance from everywhere we wanted to go. And a nice view of the mission. The hotel looked like it could use some upkeep/maintenance. We kept hearing the toilet make a strange noise all night long. Service was good. They offered complimentary pastries and coffee in the morning which was nice. Overall the stay was good. Beds were comfortable.
