Powerhouse Hotel Tamworth by Rydges

Beautiful hotel with attention given to every detail. Excellent finishes and a real cosy feel to the room. We had a two bedroom which was perfect for our family of two adults and two kids. The ceiling fans and TVs were a great addition to the room which made it more unique than a standard hotel room. We didn’t have breakfast but ate dinner in the restaurant one night which was lovely. Great pool and lovely spa too. Will definitely be back!

It was a nice trip. The room was very clean, the location was also very easy to visit. I would like to stay here again! Thank you for making good memory.

Nothing to fault. Except on NYE I thought the security guard was unfair asking people to leave the pool at 10.45pm which usually closes at 1030pm. The few people there were not noisy in anyway that would disturb other people in their rooms.

Amazing. One of the best hotels we’ve stayed at. Only stopped as passing by but would consider coming back to Tamworth just to stay at this hotel 😂 check in and out was quick and painless. The room had a king bed and seperate rooms for the kids. The TV had lights around it what a great touch. What more could you want

An excellent place to stay. The powerhouse offers a very high standard of accommodation as well excellent in house restaurant (and other great eating options a short walk away). Very good value for money and it puts many capital city hotels to shame.

An excellent hotel. We checked in for an overnight stay after a long drive in extremely hot weather and were immediately impressed with the hotel lobby, professional, welcoming staff and the hotel’s restaurant nearby. We were not disappointed on any count. We were upgraded to an apartment, which was fitted out to the level by of many major capital city hotels and we enjoyed a great meal at the restaurant

Motel converted to a modern boutique hotel. Overall we enjoyed the hotel - however we found the older ladies at the restaurant and bar friendlier than the reception. Not very welcoming during check in or check out. While it’s a little further out to city centre it is still walkable.

Great service. Dinner was exceptional.

We liked our room, the service and the wonderful restaurant. We were however very disappointed that the pool was green, our kids were very keen to have a swim in the Tamworth heat and we didn’t think the water looked safe to swim in.
