Historic Santa Maria Inn

Great places stay very comfortable beds yes older but that's part of the nostalgic life that I like to live I really enjoyed it Cheap drinks downstairs in the lounge . And an amazing taco spot one block away.

This hotel should either have a frame-off restoration, or simply be torn down. The carpets were filthy, the pillows are these hard squares, there is so much road noise you won’t sleep. The entire place just smells and feels like 1981, meaning like stale smoke and mildew. The room furniture was circa 1966, and while the lobby may have its 20th century charm still intact with the old phone booths, and the walnut finish - the rooms are less so. Expensive for what you get... a tired, run down, old hotel.

Very convenient. In hotel restaurant was a major plus.

I don't have much to say other than that this place was definitely worth staying at. I booked this place for my family and everyone loved it. I asked everyone in the morning how their sleep was, and they said they slept so comfortably. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and family who visit around this area.

Room was stinky and not well cleaned

The room was clean and comfortable but I would of liked to have curtains to darkened the room, it was too bright to early after not being able to sleep because people on the next room had loud music playing. I wish I could of had earlier quiet time specially since my 9 year old son was there.

Old, Dirty, Musty, Smokers.

It was very nice, cozy, and easy, not to mention great service. For the price and experience it was a great experience and would come back again.

Rooms where dirty, hair on our pillows and in the shower, it looked like someone had poured coffee on the shutters, the carpet definitely had not been vacuumed, the room was musty and stuffy. No breakfast, was told pool was heated and it definitely wasn’t lol I got charged 30 extra and that was not discussed or disclosed,

i get the whole antique/historic theme they are going for, but felt more like outdated, old building without any modernization, or maybe they're just too cheap
