Econo Lodge Jacksonville

The room was clean. The service was friendly. No pool They were renavating so the stairs by my room was closed had to walk a ways to my car. Got woke up at 8am. To move my car across parking lot. Was very tired from traveling. Needless to say i switched hotels that day.

there were mattresses stored outdoors and some of the parking lot lighting was burned out.

They are in the process of redoing the rooms so the property itself was a little cluttered with old bed frames and mattresses, but that is to be expected with the level of refurbishment going on. So if you can just get passed that it's decent place to stay for the price. We stayed in two of the remodeled rooms and they were very nice. They provide a good continental breakfast with waffles and biscuits and gravy to name a couple of our favorites. All in all a nice place to rest your head for one of the lowest fares in the area around the airport.

The room was overall clean & presentable. However, there were few minor items that could use improvement: :leather chair was old & worn out...suggestion—>maybe reupholstered? :Tub looked old...suggestion—>refinished? :bed skirt needed to be tucked to have a “cleaner” look. It looked like it was done in a hurry & there was no final or overall check before client’s check in.

Receptionist was excellent ,very helpful and cheerful.

The front desk lady was exceptional and even called 15 min after checj in to see if we needed anything. The ha ducalled room was very nice. Large roll in shower with lits of hot water. The inky privkem we had was the tv not switching channels. We unplugged it for 4 min as directed several times before the manager came to get it ti change. Shortly after he left it reverted to refusing to switch channels. No other rooms were available. Bri g your own soaps etc since this is no frills in terms of a small bar soap but beds were comfortable and no bed bugs so that alone made the price of $100 a night inc tax etc worthwhile. Had dinner down the streer at Bella Mushroom which has excellent pizza and other dishes.

The room had recently been updated. The room was clean and basic. Front desk crew were all very kind and friendly. Can’t say much about the breakfast since I didn’t eat it. I had their coffee which was very weak and the food offered did not look appetizing to me. We were only there for the night so for that I highly recommend. A longer stay might be better served at a different hotel:motel.

I was under the impression the hotel had already been renovated. We arrived and got checked in only to learn it was in the process of being checked in. Our room was very out dated and due to my mistake I had booked a smoking room. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and quickly changed our room to a non- smoking room. Although it was disappointing to find out the hotel was not renovated and the rooms were out dated - the staff made up for some of the disappointment. The owner was very kind and assured me if were to return in the future the rooms would be outstanding.

Love the renovated room, the shuttle from and to the airport and the super friendly staff.
