Red Lion Inn & Suites Seaside

Service was ok. Cleanliness could be better. Beds were not comfortable, stiff & No comforter..

The staff is amazing. When we had a problem, they took care of it. The manager/owner was very nice and sincere when we told her of the problem. The room was nice, cozy, and clean.

Just another old hotel that needs a lot of work ! Dirty needs paint no phone in the room just terrible

Price was good for the area, Location was pretty good. A little too far for walking distance to downtown and the beach, but a quick drive. Front desk staff. were friendly and helpful. Room was just okay, didn’t feel super clean, kind of run-down, beds weren’t super comfortable but livable. The to-go breakfast was pretty good. Bummer that the pool/hot tub were closed due to Covid.

It wasn’t a bad place to stay. We have stayed at other Red Lions that were much nicer. The bed was pretty comfortable and the room was very large, which was positive. There were a lot of lamps in the room - most of them not working - and it felt cluttered. A lot of paint missing from the walls. Just needed some updates. It was also fairly noisy. Kind staff and a pretty close walk to downtown Seaside.

The room was comfortable and inviting. However, the bathroom smelled strongly of urine. We chose a room with kitchenette, however, it had nothing for us to use. We would have had to bring everything just to make something with the burners. When I called to reserve the room staff did not share that they had no amenities for their kitchenette. And the motor in the AC unit was dying so it kept waking us through out the night.

Not so good. I booked 2 rooms one with kitchenette but when I checked in they told me one of the rooms the hide a bed sofa was broken but we could get roll out free but not comfortable. The kitchenette did not work so asked for discount because that was reason why I booked. Said they would and second day would move me to another room with kitchenette. I checked back next day around 1:30 pm and still not ready they said they would call my cell. This was Sunday and practically empty. Finally I got call at 6 pm asking if wanted to change rooms however told them at this point so late and checking out in am not changing room just give me discount which they gave me $27 refund. Also only had 2 bath towels in each room but had 4 and 5 in each room. Will not book there ever again.

Great customer service. Vending machine not working closed pool.

No parking. Hotel front door didn’t shut and kept popping open. Sink broken. Shower broken. Super thin blanket. We hoped for one towel per person. TV remote broken and the phone cord didn’t stay attached to the phone receiver/handle so you couldn’t make calls.

Our hotel room was very lacking. The phone cord had to be placed a certain way to connect. Cable only 1/2 worked. The shower didn't work at all. When we were given a new room the air condition didn't work and the fridge had a loud high pitch buzz/hum the whole time. Over all not a good stay.
