Baymont by Wyndham Memphis East

I have stayed here for many years on our way to Texas. Always clean and in safe surroundings .

Extremely quiet, secure, and convenient location. Room was clean and comfy. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone. Well worth the money

bed has hair, bathroom has water leak all the time and the toilet has rough rubber in the toilet

Our room was clean. The front desk and room service staff were friendly.

The hotel and staff were great. Parking was in the secure lot which was very reassuring during the Christmas season. Missed the breakfast but understand during this time.

The staff did not wear masks or PPE of any kind! Completely unacceptable in a pandemic and especially with signs requiring masks on all doors.

I really enjoy everything it was in central location where I could find everything i needed , from food to the stores.

I chose this motel because it had an exercise room. It was closed even though there were gyms open in Memphis. Otherwise everything was good

Whole experience was terrible multiplied with Covid worst stay I have ever had

This was by far the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. I’m still in disbelief. The room was nonsmoking but immediately had an overwhelming smell of cigarettes, that stale musky kind. The smoke alarm was covered with a plastic bag, likely due to people smoking in the room. Afraid I would be charged the $150 cleaning fee, I called the front desk to make them aware. I am actually very laid back and wasn’t even complaining or requesting a room change at this point. I’m traveling with an infant and just needed a bed for the night. I get to spending a little more time in the room and notice mystery slime splashes on the wall and the microwave wasn’t clean when I go to heat up my baby’s bottle, so now I’m starting to get a little upset and worried what else is not clean. Are my sheets even washed? Are there bugs etc etc? I still don’t complain. Well, here’s the straw that broke the camels back. I look under the bed to retrieve one of my daughters toys and I was horrified. There was cigarette butts down there, candy and wrappers, a roll of electrical tape, a piece of wire, a pen, and tons of food crumbs, burn marks on the box spring, and more. I called the front desk being careful not to misdirect my anger towards the clerk. She was defensive and argumentative anyways. She insisted I settle for a room change but quite frankly I felt too disgusted with the place. Long story short I got a refund. I am not a complainer but this was unacceptable. I took photos and will notify corporate.
