Like room set up with kitchen. Was clean. But a little run down.

Not happy with young lady that checked us in she didn’t tell us there was no maid service. No problem going downto get towels but I would have like to know. Also no hot breakfast, only a cold box breakfast. No one said anything about that

Honestly, it was a hotel near MD Anderson that we needed for a night. It did that job. Hotel is kept well, and they seemed to be at least actively cleaned and maintained. Only 1 elevator bay with 2 cars is available to go to upper floors, but only one of them seemed to be in service, we used the same single car every time we used it. Bed was a little firmer than my preference, but may be perfect for others. Only real issue was the counter service for check-in. Clerk that was manning the front had to go with a guest with a wheelchair, I don’t have an issue with that. There was a second person, manager perhaps (no name tag I could read), who came out said she didn’t know where Matthew was (but I did) looked around a couple of areas and said that she’s sure he’ll be back in a minute or two, and then went back to her office never to be seen again. There were 3 different people waiting at the desk area, and instead of helping the people that were waiting to check in to her hotel, she walked away. That almost made we walk, because that is extremely poor customer service. There are many other hotels in the area.

There was an issue with my credit card and I understand the concern that they need their payment. I was there for 3 days and 2 nights. When I arrived they only charged my credit card with 25.00 why? Idk. Most hotels don’t do that. Next morning at 8am they started banging at my room door saying there was a problem with my card and I needed to rectify. I said I’ll be there shortly, then this followed with numerous phone calls waking me up from my sleep. I got up, went and gave them a card and they said it was fine. By next morning, once again, woken up at 8am saying a problem with my card and needed to go correct it. Both times they were rude, impolite and I was not able to rest because of this. 1. Had they charged my card for the total amount when I checked in this could of all been avoided. 2. Their approach was not friendly, and their payment systems are outdated or need to be fixed which all the issues I had on this visit. As a result I won’t be staying here again and will advise my friends to steer clear as well.

Good location but room was musty smelling .......

The Hotels.com listing should be updated to let customers know that the fitness center is closed as well as the pool. The $6 per day parking should also be included. Otherwise the stay was fine. I wish there had been some fruit or yogurt options for breakfast included with the granola bars. It would be easy and 'safe' during these covid times.

Given the difficult general conditions (COVID-19), everything was excellent. Immaculately clean.

We like that there is a shuttle to MD Anderson and to Rice village.

They charge for parking on the property on top of overpaying for room. So 74 dollar room ended up being 130. Almost twice the price.
