Super 8 by Wyndham Cookeville

Room has lvp which was nice (better than carpet), however, bed covers had spots on them, so we pushed them down. The faucet was loose and the sink drained very slow. At 3am, a crowd came in jamming M&M and squealing tires and such. Kept me awake for a bit. When we walked in the room, it was 52 deg. So it took a bit to warm it up. Overall, though, it was a good stay. Some items could be better, yet some couldn’t be helped.

We stayed here on our way home from vacation. I booked the hotel based on the great reviews on hotels.com stating it was clean and a safe neighborhood. It was anything but. We pulled in and several people were standing in the parking lot staring at us. We went to our first room and there was broken glass and windows everywhere outside. The room smelled and there was body hair all over the bedding along with pieces of black stuff and stains. We were moved to a second room which still had hair all over the bedding and appeared that someone had previously eaten a cookie/cupcake in our bed as there were crumbs in the sheets. This tells me that housekeeping does not change the bedding in between guests. It was absolutely disgusting and will never return.

The room was beautiful and new, the shower was really good. It looks clean to me. Love the pillow and the bed.

The young lady who checked me in was very nice. I couldn’t get my door to open and she came right up and showed me what I was doing wrong. She was very courteous. My room was nice and very clean. I felt safe staying there, especially during the pandemic.

Had to stand out side in the wind and cold to sign in. Asked what time breakfast was and they just said they weren't having one. The room was fine and spacious.

The decor is very nice, the shower pressure and temp was on the soft side and not that hot. Warm enough, but not enough to steam up a bathroom! Christina at the front desk was very nice and got us checked in quickly, very happy with that.

Overall this was a good place. I’m a little uncomfortable talking with desk clerk through a small window and giving my I’d and payment.

Second time staying here, very clean and the amenities are great. Couldn’t be happier staying here! I would recommend anyone to stay here when in town

The hotel was in great shape for the age of the building. Was recently painted, updated, well lit outside and very great stay especially for the price. Will stay again.
