We just returned from a 3 day stay at the Admiral Fell Inn. My wife and I have differing opinions, but I would stay here again. If you are considering, please realize that this is NOT a 5 star hotel, nor is it priced as one. You will get a clean, comfortable room, although one of our party had to be relocated due to an air conditioning issue and nasty smell in their room, but the staff and management made it right. The hotel is very old and what the travel brochure might describe as "quaint". Smaller rooms and thin walls (my wife's main complaint), BUT the location cannot be beat and the price is within what you would expect for the amenities. I LOVE staying in older, historic buildings and you are right in the heart of Fells Point, so the nightlife (and all that comes with it) is right outside your door. Management was responsive to issues (with the exception of an overnight employee) and the hotel is also dog friendly, which means on my next visit, Little Walter gets to come along!

Great place close to water and activities. Plan to stay again when we return to the area.

The hotel itself is a beautiful historic building, but our room needed updating. The sink had cracks and rust, the hutch which contained the TV had a broken hinge, one of the pictures waswarped and had dirty rusty frame. Room was very, very small- an overweight person could never use the toilet. Staff was not very helpful or friendly.

Have stayed there several times before without any major issues. Hotel is a lot more run down now and is in much need of updating. The shower didn't work properly, the tub didn't drain, there was gobs of hair underneath drain cover. Very noisy if you have a room that faces front of building. Could not get any sleep for the outside noise. No maid service was provided during our stay. Desk clerk was not wearing her mask therefore not adhering to Covid-19 guidelines. Would not go back there again. Very disappointed based on prior stays there

I took a personal break here. I had fun wondering fells point on a perfect early fall day. This Inn is old and charming. Some things didn’t work, like the phone was crackling, the lamp didn’t work, nor did the tv. The coffee pot only had decaf. I found the bed and pillows comfortable but yes they are worn down. The location is amazing, right in the heart of it all. It’s got charm and history galore for a reasonable price. It was well cleaned and sanitary. Good WiFi and good water pressure too. I’ll be back because I don’t really care about the “minuses” I listed.

The hotel is not a brand new cookie cut building. The hallways have twists and turns. The rooms are all differentsome big some small. But the place has character. I cant praise the hotel staff enough. They all went out if their way to insure my stay was as pleasant and comfortable as could be. I will be staying there again and will ve recommending it to family and friends.

Very clean, quiet and comfortable. Staff was super friendly and helpful.

1ST TIME STAYING HERE RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF EVERYTHING JUST WASN'T AWARE OF THE NEW RULES THEY HAD GOING ON DUE TO COVID AND EVERYTHING CLOSED AT 9-930PM WHICH WE WERE OK WITH AND HEADED TO THE CASINO.

This hotel used to be an absolute gem. Was disappointed to see how it had fallen into such disrepair. There’s no valet parking and the closest parking garage is four blocks away. Wouldn’t be too much of an issue, but with the streets shut down for COVID it’s hard to get to the front door. Room I was originally given had food on the floor, stained bed cover, and a window sill which hadn’t been cleaned in ages. Oh, and a broken desk chair. I called the front desk to request a different room and I was moved. The room was cleaned, but still very outdated. For the price of the room you’re better off staying at the Waterfront Marriott where the rooms are newer.
