Good value hotel

Hotel set in lovely golf course with excellent swimming pool and gym. Good value but room a bit tatty, bathroom door needed revarnish and bath handrail removed. Breakfast nice, friendly staff.

Great hotel

Was great but the hotel was empty due to COVID which was a shame as there was no atmosphere. They restaurant had 3 people in it the whole time and 2 of them were us, food was lovely tho....room was great and dinner was included in a great price. Will definitely visit again when things are back to some sort of normality

Nice hotel surrounded by loads of land and the golf course, there was sadly no meal service due to Covid but staff so helpful in arranging takeaways. Lovely rooms and very clean.

The property was very welcoming and set in lovely grounds. Obviously the property is very old but looked after and kept well. Some parts needed modernisation/redecoration compared to others but it was an enjoyable stay. The food was amazing our evening meal was certainly 10 out of 10! The breakfast was good too. We used the swimming pool which was great and the facilities were very clean. I have to mention the staff who were brilliant and so friendly during the current climate "Covid". There were less staff (restaurant/reception/Bar area) and they were rushing around to look after you and tend to your needs. They did a fantastic job 😊. They are a credit to the hotel !

Lovely hotel

When I was checking in I was not told what time dinner we be and breakfast all so I booked the swimming pool I was not told I would need to have a pound coin for the locker my room was a four poster bed lovely room very clean and large the restaurant was very good the food the service was lovely bar area was small but very welcoming I will be going back to this hotel again

The property and hotel are absolutely fantastic, beautiful room, perfect for a relaxing holiday. Everything was very clean, lovely pool available.

Very good could improve the cooked breakfast it was over cooked and cold but apart from that it was Avery good stay beautiful place

Great as always

As always I had a good stay at the Manor of Groves. I stay here a lot for business as it is near my office and I always have a pleasant experience. The hotel had taken appropriate steps to deal with the current Covid situation and whilst I felt the steps necessary, they did not overly impact my stay.
