Comfort Inn South Oceanfront

Stayed before, nice location and usually very nice. This trip was just overnight and issues were found: 1. No hot water at midnight. Had some, started to shower and lost it. Called desk, answer was we will call maintenance. 2. Inside door handle on door came off while shutting door. 3. Door has been racked sideways and doesnt sit in the frame correctly. This causes do opening and closing issues, which may relate to the door handle issue.

Check in took so long Person at the counter was inefficient and not apologetic.

Good location. However I walk with a cane and the only way to the beach was on the second floor. From there, you had to walk down stairs to get to the beach. From the second floor deck, there was a fairly good view of the ocean. So I stayed on the deck to watch the waves.We brought our dog. They only had certain rooms dogs could stay in. The room we stayed in was kind of run down

We liked the location - right on the beach. liked the pool, the rooms were roomy. the fridge had no freezer section, which we could have used. the parking lot was packed because of a classic car event, and the gals at the front desk bent over backward to help us find parking. we are supremely grateful and send out a big thanks to them for their help

What a dump. First room smelled like a wet dog and we had to Demand another room or leave at 12:30 in the morning as we arrived late. Management was uncaring and rude. Comfort inn should pull their association from this property.

Clean rooms, firm mattress, run -down facility. Fitness room closed and minimal breakfast due to Covid.

Beds are comfortable. Rooms are outdated. Fridge didn’t work at all. Ice machines are almost all broken. Hotel needs some updating. Railing on balcony very loose.

Being on the beach was the only plus. Outdated bathroom.mold on tub fixture and walls. Door to bathroom had to slam to shut it. Bottom of door looked like an animal had chewed on it. No reading chair in room. Was told only in king size bedroom was a chair. Windows were unclean. Elevator smelled and had broken parts on doors. Will not use comfort inn again.

Most of the staff was unmasked and continuously passing within inches of people as the came and went. Why is this behavior tolerated? It is not only unlawful but dangerous and just down right rude.

First of all the neighbor on the balcony beside us was chain smoking and we couldn't stay out there cause we couldn't breath. On top of that the doors there had quarter inch gaps in the frame that let the smoke in the room so couldn't we sleep. The locks on the door were falling off, so no security. The outside backdoor was open so anybody could walk in the place. The place was just totaly filthy. The worse place we ever stayed. You and comfort Inn should be ashamed and the place shoud be shut down til conditions are improved. I'll never stay at a hotel.com place again!!!
