Courtyard by Marriott Columbus Tipton Lakes

Arrived at 7:00 pm, room wasn't ready until 8:00 pm. The lobby was filled with others also waiting for a room. Although the staff seemed to be trying, we were disappointed to have to wait after a day of traveling. Also, pool, gym, and bar/deli were closed. I realize it's Covid related. But, it would have been nice to at least offer those waiting a drink &/or snack. Probably will look elsewhere next time we're in town.

Room was not ready when we arrived and the hostess was very rude as she offered to downgrade our room but not refund the additional fees we had already paid for the larger room. Upstairs, the room was nice but housekeeping had left a dirty towel in the room and the bed was made pretty badly to the point where I had to refit the sheets - really hoping those sheets were clean.

Room did not have but one clean wash cloth when we arrived. We located one dirty wash cloth hanging on the shower curtain. Room was not cleaned during the day while we were out. We asked cleaning lady for wash clothes she stated she didn’t have any available but would bring some to out room but she never did.

Toilet lid was falling off. No room cleaning was done.

We probably would not have stayed had we known the pool was closed the restaurant was closed the bar was closed yheconly ice machine was on the first floor and we were on the 3rd. Couldnt log my kiddos computer to internet or tablet. It was fair and boring andcwe were over charged 20. My booking was 99.97 all tax included and i was charged 120.00. Not happy

We arrived at 9p and waited over an hour for a room due to the fact they didn't have enough staff to clean rooms.

Clean and friendly staff. Would stay there again.

The hotel was clean in general and hand many signs for safety, mask mandate & sanitizer stations which was why I was quite disappointed that on 4 occasions (we stayed two nights) I saw a specific housekeeping staff not wearing a mask (including in the elevator with my and my 2 children). We also had no conditioner in the shower dispenser which made me concerned about the length to which our room had been cleaned.

Bathroom wasn’t very clean. Also hair in the blanket.

When we arrived and checked in, we were told the room we reserved wasn’t ready yet so they could put us in a double or king. Chose the king room as long as it was a lower price (booked a king suite), were told it was a lower price. Got to the elevator and went upstairs where they were cleaning rooms. Walked by more than 1 suite they were supposed to be cleaning and 3 different people were on personal phone calls sitting on the furniture. Our room was nice and clean but not what we reserved. We also got charged the higher price we had to call about. Still waiting on a refund.
