Days Inn by Wyndham Grayling

Much of the building is under renovation. No notice was given of this. However, there was no active construction going on while we were there. The beds were extremely comfy and well-made. The fixtures and amenities are extremely old. I'm sure once Renovations are finished, it won't smell so dank and musty. May be a good idea to open up Windows and turn on the air in rooms that are about to be occupied.

The hotel was attractive and our room had plenty of space. With a good sized fridge and microwave oven. The extra sink was very handy. We would definitely stay there again.

Very clean yet the beds needed upgrades, great pub next to hotel!

We were placed in handicap room with shower that had black moldy looking grout. Hotel was far from full so why put us in that room? Have stayed here before and rooms were always clean but this one was not as nice.

If you're coming to this area it is probably for the incredible outdoor activities and not because you expect luxury accommodations or dining. This hotel meets those expectations - clean rooms, beds were great. My overall poor review is from a safety standpoint in the time of COVID - no masks to be seen anywhere by staff or asked of guests congregating in public areas. No masks or plexiglass at check-in and none on any of the housekeeping staff - not while in the halls, not while servicing the rooms. Not once. I am guessing this is a political statement since masking is required in Michigan at this time; as a physician I will just say it is irresponsible and dangerous - I've watched people across the political spectrum die terrible deaths over the last 5 months.
