Fairfield Inn & Suites Memphis I-240 & Perkins

The beds were comfortable and the staff were friendly, but there was an overwhelmingly off putting smell of marijuana in the elevators and subsequently in the halls too. Luckily it was not to prominent in the rooms. Based on past reviews this is a recurrent problem that still has not been addressed and not just a weekend problem as my stay was on a monday and Tuesday morning. This will definitely me from booking here again.

I was disappointed in my choice of this hotel. When I arrived, I had to wait to enter the lobby because you have to be buzzed in or use a room key. No one was at the front desk. Girl finally showed up. Very pleasant. No mask. Check in went smoothly. Room was not what I expected. Stains on the carpet. Bathroom very small. Shower only. Bed was not comfortable at all. Very noisy. Guests loud throughout the hotel, inside and out. Not a very good area either I found out afterwards. I would not recommend.

Excellent stay . We all enjoyed our time and it was comfortable . From the comfort of the room to to the view outside to capture the snowfall . I will be booking again next time .

I like the lobby and how the rooms looked and the service

Park close to the building. Someone’s car window was broken into during my stay.

It’s located near the highway and has low quality windows so I could not sleep whole night because of heavy noise. Guest service woman was not friendly during Christmas Eve and Christmas morning, didn’t say anything about the main property amenities. The elevator and floors were dirty during the entire stay. The hotel has poor condition.

I would never stay here again. The hotel looked nice from the outside. We drove down the street a few blocks and there was crime scene tape everywhere. We come back to our hotel and around 1 am someone was trying to get into our room, luckily it was locked. The phone rings around 1:30 am so we answer and the person hangs up. Someone called four more times up until 5 am. We contacted the front desk to switch rooms. They said they couldn't because we booked with hotels.com. They told us it was okay they were just trying to get ahold of someone who stayed there before us most likely. She proceeded to say the cops are out front every 20-30 minutes which says enough in itself. We kept checking out the window and never saw a cop there. The bathroom was extremely dirty and they only gave us one roll of toilet paper. We had to go downstairs to get more. The tv picture kept going in and out. The carpet was filthy and there were stains on the wall.

We booked our room like 2 weeks ago. For 2 queen bed rooms. They had given our room to someone else and wouldn’t even give us our money back. So 4 of us had to sleep in a king size bed.. which obviously didn’t work and 2 had to sleep in the floor. I will never stay at this hotel again. She complained to us that the people before us complained about this right before her saying that they did the same thing to them. And for them to say they couldn’t even give us a discount or anything special because of it to show they was sorry, or even say they was sorry!!

The lady that checked us in didnt tell us anything. Ive never been to a hotel that doesnt try to make you feel like they were happy you chose their hotel out of all the other choices i had. She handed me 2 keycards and that was it. Didnt even tell me where my room was, when was breakfast, or anything. The whole second floor stunk of marijuana. Starting at 4 am people were stomping through the halls and slamming doors. We left at 730 and there still wasnt any kind of breakfast out. When i booked the room it said complimentary hot breakfast. I didnt even see muffins and cereal. The toilet has not been scrubbed in awhile there was a water ring around the inside of bowl.
