Four Points by Sheraton San Diego

I have stayed at this location several times and I've had good experiences. This time around the AC was not working so it was cold at night.

The hotel is a poor reflection on the Sheraton brand. We stayed 3 nights and had to move rooms twicw. First room the AC was broken. They sent a workman who came into our room without wearing a mask. The second room, we pulled back the bed covers and found bugs crawling in the bed. We moved quickly and prayed it wasn't bed bugs. As of the time we left the next day, the staff had done nothing to fumigate the room. In each move no one helped us. Also the outside door were broken and visibly open so there was no security.

Good, clean, safe business trip. Nothing special

As I am writing thing, the shower has been running for almost 30 min and still no HOT water. This happen to me the night I arrived. My kids literally had to take a cold shower that night because they didn’t want to wait to warm it up. It took 40 min to heat. And 2 days later, this is happening again. We had many things planned this morning, but we can’t leave the room because we can’t take a shower since the water is freezing! They say they have to see the boiler or something like that! Come on, how can you not be prepared for guests when they come? Besides that, found at least 3 spiders ( one on my bed right next to my baby daughter). About the amenities, I didn’t have the chance to see ( not sure about pool and I know there is no breakfast). The only good thing was that I think there weren’t many guests around so didn’t hear too much noise around.

There were ants in our 1st room they put us in another room still the same ants and earwigs. They didn’t offer us a discount on our rate. Ants on our bed around microwave area and in bathroom. Earwigs in bathroom. I told them when we checked out they might consider spraying insecticide in that whole wing. Very disappointed.

The stay was amazing. Very clean facility, COVID conscious and very courteous staff. Even though I was on business, I would stay there again if visiting the San Diego area on personal business. I would recommend this stay to friends & family.

Overall everything was good

I did enjoy my stay here. It was convenient to the freeway and very quiet, even with a small airport right outside. Past reviews said the beds were like sleeping on a cloud, wrong! Beds are hard as a brick! When checking in I was told my parking was comped, but when I checked out I was charged for it anyways. I’m curious to what the hotel was before because the design is strange-like a refurbished office building or prison.
