Boulders Resort & Spa Scottsdale, Curio Collection by Hilton

Don’t waste your money. They claim for this to be a nice upscale relaxing resort and spa. The spa is nonexistent due to COVID. The fine dining they speak of is bottom of the barrel. The Spotted Mule is a restaurant in an old abandoned mall and the food was terrible. The rooms are old and run down (built in 1985) they have remodeled the bathrooms but our sink didn’t drain. The room had an old stale smell to it. The hot tub was not even filled up past the jets, so we couldn’t use that. You have to call for a golf cart to pick you up and take you to and from your car or anywhere else you want to go on the premises as it’s widely spread out. I don’t know ,this one is your call but for the price you pay per night it was definitely not worth the money. After our first night I called and asked if we could be refunded for the next night and leave but of course they would not do that. Needless to say, we will never ever return.

The Hilton con artists used COVID as an excuse to provide no maid service!!!! They told me this AFTER they took my money. They also charged a $30 "water fee" for each round of golf.

This was our second stay in a bit over a month -we are local and enjoy escaping from Phoenix, especially now when traveling options are limited. We enjoyed wonderful stay - as always - most helpful and friendly staff, great room, peaceful time on the patio and great food at the Grill (Izmir was fantastic - made all perfect recommendations!). We will keep coming back.

I booked a villa and in a picture there’s a clear view of a jacuzzi off the master suite. When I got there, my villa didn’t have one and I was not offered a substitute.

View was terrible and the worst customer service I have ever experienced at any hotel.

We had several issues with this resort. First was the employees not wearing masks when in the golf carts Also no social distancing at the only pool available to us since the adult pool was closed. The resort fee is ridiculous since the internet is not secure so I could not use it. Part of the fee is for parking. The parking lot is so dark at night you could hardly see where you were walking which was hazardous because you are walking in the street most of the time, There were very few lights and some were not working. One time we were in the golf cart a few years ago and came across a rattle snake in our path. If that had happened while walking from the parking lot it would be bad. We tried twice to get a golf cart but the driver never showed up so we had to walk in the dark.We have stayed there many times and never had so many issues.I understand that Covid may be to blame for not having the staff available to clean the rooms and for drivers but the rates did not reflect the fact that you had lost a lot of the ammenties that we were use to.
