Preston Park Hotel

Stay here quite often and the showers seem to be the only problems. This time however the room was not so good - Big crack in the sink, trouser press broken and left leaning in room (don't use but if its broken maybe remove it) shower was barely a dribble - disappointed with stay this time. Thought maybe with lockdown the hotel could have fixed a few of glitches.

No hot water in shower and cleaner walked In when getting changed

The staff is wonderful, room ok, but the toilet needs some changes, there is no ventilator, the toilet need to press the flush button 3-4 time until will work, and the shower need an upgrade

Shower didn’t work then got moved to a MUCH smaller room

The hotel is very dated and in need of a lot of work Staff on duty not the friendliest I’ve come across and not the worst ok for a 1 night work stop over

Needed somewhere to stay in Brighton at very short notice. This was one of the few options left available. Very dated inside and the room in need of repair. I stayed on one of the hottest days (end of July) and so the room without air-con was very warm over night. However, room was basic but clean. Shower pressure/temperature reasonable. The breakfast was a simple buffet and the waiter very friendly. Not a bad stay, reflected in the price. And great to have available free parking. But also on a busy bus route.

Unfortunately even though the hotel has been closed for COVID 19, there has been no work done to repair the minor defects of the hotel eg: broken shower bracket on our room.

I should have read the reviews. I only chose the hotel because it was close to my job assignment and Preston Park Station. The hotel requires a deep clean and major upgrade. Peeling wallpaper, shower enclosure grubby, skirting boards with dust - need I go on. I also noticed that an that a fire exit sign lead straight to a dead end corridor and another sign was peeling off the wall. Staff abrupt and unfriendly - Fawlty Towers comes to mind

had a nice stay in a nice hotel in a yery good postion would stay there again

Below average, probably about time it was knocked down and turned into flats!!
