Hotel Royal

A Michelin star restaurant within the hotel was nice and being able to use 100 Swiss francs for the bill. Would definitely stay here again.

Very conveniently located minutes away from the lake and all shopping, Royal hotel delivers an outstanding customer service experience

Would not refund my money even though our trip was cancelled due to Covid 19. Very inconsiderate

It’s location and the facilities are excellent. Luxurious but not too expensive.

Terribly inflexible service that take their few customers for granted, with a lingering smell of cheap perfume.

Apart of Its lavish prices the hotel is aside the railway. Be ready to count the trains all night!

Location was great - easy access to old town and tram stop right outside the hotel took us to the places we wanted to go Good comfortable rooms and helpful staff

The bed sheets were dirty had blood stairs on, 2 out of the 3 beds the bed linen had not been changed. Also we had the room service e man knocking on our door asking if we had seen his bank card but. This looked like a suspicious behaviour to see if we were in our room so he can enter. We heard him go in to another room. We didn’t feel our belongings were safe in this hotels room. Not worth it for the price or anything. The staff at reception didn’t seem to care and just wanted to small talk. I would suggest any traveller to spend their money else where

Good hotel and is at a nice location Some rooms could be noisy on a side next to train station.

Easy to get to by rail or taxi from airport. Friendly and welcoming front desk. She spoke English, recommended an amazing restaurant close enough to walk to and reasonably priced. A great way to start our first trip to Switzerland.
