Hilton Garden Inn Albuquerque North/Rio Rancho

The gal serving breakfast was very nice and swift. Three main amenities that made me choose this hotel were not available, no good reason provided. 1) No coffee in room. I'm a very early riser and always look for a place that offers a coffeemaker in the room; staff said all makers were removed by corporate b/c of malfunctions. Why not replace them or at least offer instant coffee to use w/microwave (hot water)? Coffee/breakfast in lobby didn't start until 0600 - too late for me. 2) No jetted tub despite the room description, and the tub that was in the room was very shallow. I specifically said at check-in that I was looking forward to the jetted tub. She changed my room after asking if I really needed an accessible room, so maybe that's why the difference. She didn't explain why it mattered what type of room I booked or why she changed it. After 8 hrs of driving, I was looking forward to a jet tub bath or a least a deeper tub, so that was a big letdown. 3) The hotel no longer provides a daily newspaper despite the info on site; seems like another cost-cutting measure but also false advertising. I've had many nights at Hilton Garden Inns but it's been a while. If this one is any indication, they've really gone downhill I could have stayed at any number of nearby places that don't have these amenities but charge less to reflect the basic service. Recommend fixing your advertised room info to manage expectations.

Was good , nothing special

My family and I were very impressed with cleanness of the whole hotel and especially Our room. I also found that this hotel is following all of the CDC guide lines for the COVID-19 pandemic. So, it was easy to get comfortable and relax without the constant worry of possibly contracting the deadly virus. All in all, I would definitely return and stay at this hotel for any future stays. The only problem that had with room/hotel was the complete absence of a coffee maker in the room or in the lobby.

Great room and convenient to Rio Rancho. Restaurants and shopping nearby.

Staff were pleasant, room was clean and comfortable.
