Hampton Inn Marion

Though the staff was nice, the mask policy wasn’t enforced. That was surprising and very disturbing. Also, we had ants in our room, and it smelled damp and musty.

The hotel staff is very friendly and welcoming. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. I was originally scheduled for two nights on a business trip but had to cut short after one day and the front desk staff was very accomodating and did not give any trouble for checking out early and only charged for one night.

Service was excellent and staff provided free water upon check-in and the facility had arranged a very good hot breakfast set up.

All the personnel were friendly and helpful - place was nice and clean

My wife thought the bed was a little worn. Pool area was good. Breakfast was just average but prepackaged stuff was a disappointment.

The pool area just opened that day...the water was COLD. You could not get in the water is was so cold and area was not cleaned at all. Cob webs everywhere. The breakfast was minimal. The rooms were excellent and very nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

This particular Hampton did not follow the Illinois Corona virus guidelines. The employees were not wearing masks they did not say anything to guests that were not wearing masks even in common areas. I was very disappointed as I would not have chosen to stay here had I not needed to be in town for a funeral. This was a very upsetting stay.

Older hotel but nice and clean.

Great hotel. Friendly staff and felt safe, especially during Covid 19.

The only thing I didn’t like was the coffee maker in the bathroom. There was room on the desk for it but it was in the bathroom. Otherwise, beds were comfortable and it was quiet.
