Hampton Inn & Suites Kansas City-Merriam

Quiet and reliable alternative to staying with a house full of noisy dogs and grandkids. We love them all but need a good night’s sleep.

My mother and I came for a girls trip and we looked forward to using the pool and the hot tub! However we were sadly mistaken! The pool was so dirty and disgusting and not to mention absolutely freezing. The hot tub was green and had caution tape all over it! My moms bed had a sunken hole in it, so clearly it needs to be replaced. Breakfast was a joke. They ran out of milk within the first hour. The soda machine which was card only wouldn’t take any of my 3 major credit cards. We ended up staying an extra night but switched hotels! We will never be back to this location!

They need To get some cleaning and repairs done!!!

The first room #101 the heaters would not work and the tv in the bedroom did not work. Changed to #106 and the heater in the living area with the kitchnette did not work and the microwave fan ran all the time. Had to open the door of the microwave to keep the fan from running. When I have stayed at Hampton Inn in the past I was well pleased but not this time.

Good - The suite was very nice. Not so good - We had 3 rooms and we were all on a different floor.

All future trips will definitely be staying at Hampton Inn - bed was comfy - clean and great customer service. It was mother’s daughter trip home away from home

The rooms were very clean & had sanitized sticker on the door prior to entering. Only complaint was the lack of bath towels...only 3 in the room & 5 guests listed on our reservation. Grab & Go breakfast was nice & easy. The coffee could have been stronger, but that's a personal preference.

The room was modern and clean. The grab abd go breakfast was very good. The staff was friendly.

Great Stay

We enjoyed our room very much. We travel to this area about once a month and had tried many, many hotels. I believe we will continue to stay here, my search is over. We had stayed in approximately 10 different hotels before this one and this is the best. The location is ideal for us being close to family.
