Hampton Inn Springfield

The hotel was fine but the app miscommunicated the amount of beds. The room was advertised with a convertible couch but the room only had two beds. The hotel did not have any available roll-away beds so two people had to sleep on the floor. I would have chosen another room if the information was correct. Otherwise, the room was fine.

Nice clean room. Breakfast is modest take-away. Coffee all the time in the lobby. Friendly staff. I would stay here again.

The staff was wonderful. Tony checkwd us in and was excellent. Thee general manager was fabulous. Out meeting and greeting customers. Very gracious.

Disappointed in the breakfast. Other venues can have buffet style hot foods, not sure why the hotel couldn’t.

Room was a little worn. Not dirty, but not up to the typical Hampton standards. Not much attention to detail. For example, above the entryway from the entry hallway to the sleeping area, crepe paper had been hung. While torn down, the top/taped portion remained when we entered, several partial strips hanging downward. The 1st floor carpeting by our room had stains and bleach looking spots. Not horrible, just in need of some TLC.

Staff was pleasant. The lobby was attractive. My bathroom was not clean. Splatters were on the counter and the toilet seat had visible excrement.
