Heathman Lodge

Overall was decent and front desk staff were friendly. Rooms needed some deep cleaning. Bathroom walls had stuff all over them, door handles were dirty and the bathtub base was stained and dirty. Beds only had sheets and a thin blanket, so it was a little cold sleeping. There were no towels in the pool area and several of us had asked for them. It took over 20 mins to get them. We ordered room service at the same time we ordered delivery from an off site restaurant. The off site restaurant food was delivered before room service came. We would stay here again, but would ask for a deep cleaned room.

We have stayed here in the past and really liked it so were surprised to walk into the room to find we had to wipe down both chairs in the room before we could sit on them, the bathroom door, windows and window treatments all had whatever it was that we had to wipe off the chairs on them too. An old potato chip was on the floor behind the another chair. Beds weren't made correctly, very sloppily made, both were missing one side of the bed skirt. To top it off the elevator closest to where we parked was "out of order", so we had to walk all the way back past our room to the other end of the hotel to take the main elevator.

Nice hotel with beautiful decor. Scenery is not what was expected in a city area. Trees and a little creek. Close to shopping and restaurants. We will go back.

Dirty and poor maintenance. Upon check in, the elevator was out of order (our room was on 3rd floor) so we had to walk a long way with all our luggage. Our room had live bugs, sink didn’t drain, and there was visible dirt on tv remote, fridge handle, blow dryer, and bathroom floor. Box springs covers were stained. Hotel is old so construction is not sound proof. Could hear conversations from neighboring room and ceiling shook when kids above ran On-site food took a long time and arrived cold.

I was suppose to get two VIP breakfast vouchers and they stated that program had expired. I asked to speak with the manager and the front desk clerk said she would have someone from management contact in my room but no one never did. I typically stay there a when visiting friends and family I’ll probably stay at a hotel in the future.

Poorly maintained; over priced in every way. Torn sheers/curtains. Poor bed and pillows for comfort. Elevator access close to our room inoperable. Emergency doors not up to code. Not being regularly maintained. Room outdated. Balcony was locked; could not open access door. Was told it was due to construction. No sign of any construction anywhere. We booked a room that included a free continental breakfast for 2. After check in, we were told it was not included; although it was stated on my confirmation. Had to leave my driver's license in order to use a luggage cart. I didn't like or appreciate that. Staff not accommodating; as if we were an inconvenience during every interaction. Check in attitude was very hurried; felt the clerk couldn't get rid of us fast enough. Couldn't even get an actuak restaurant menu. Told to use my phone to download one. Seriously?!?

Great clean hotel. Great place to stay

The Heathman used to be very, very nice hotel. Upon checking in, I was checked in to a room that someone had apparently just checked out of and had not been cleaned...not a big deal since it was a simple mistake. However, after walking back to the front desk and taking the stairs...they were horrible and very dirty. I found this to be true of another stairwell. They upgraded me to a suite (staff is super nice and friendly as always). The suite was "meh"...furniture was dated and worn and there was a rip in the curtains. The TV was pretty dated as well; however the bed was comfortable.

The phone didn't work in our room. One of the lamps didn't work. Room service at breakfast forgot ketchup, a silverware place setting, and jam for my toast, and my meal got cold waiting for it. The restaurant wouldn't provide a paper menu: the guy where we went to check in for dinner said they don't provide paper menus, even though the sign at his desk SAID THEY DO lol. He also said they can't because the menu changes everyday, even though it hadn't changed for weeks. The dinner menu offering was very sparse.

I remember when this hotel was built and it's is still very nice. It showed s0me wear, but was comfortable. The elevator was out and because of Covid, the restaurant was in the drive thru out front. The staff was amazing and I was fine with it.
