Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites Rochester - Marketplace

There are roaches in the room. The pool was clean, mattresses were indented and old. There was a leak in the bathroom. The person checking us in was rude when addressing the rules and how she won't hesitate to call the police. She wasn't that rude with customers before us.

Our stay was great but when we arrived we were charged 20 dollars for fee of the restaurant and the continental breakfast that we didnt even get because of the COVID. Just shouldn't be charged for something that is up and running.

I have no complaints. I loved everything about the property

The floors weren't the cleanest. The corners going into the bathroom were dirty.

Staff was friendly; the location was great; the building was older but well maintained; the only amenity missing, for me, was a hot tub to accompany the pool. Overall the hotel met all my needs.

It was great, everyone was friendly. Would recommend.

Excellent location, reasonable price. Staff is courteous

We went to Rochester NY for a family event. The King Suite rooms allowed us to accommodate parents / older children easily. The pool was excellent - very clean and extra towels were available. The best about this hotel was its staff - welcoming from our walk into the lobby; the breakfast staff (Todd/ Yvonne) were exceptionally attentive and helpful; bartender Preston was very nice.

Room very clean overall. Clean bathroom and great shower. Great setup of the sitting area. True blackout shades. Nice area. No loud noises from hallway or outside. Room was close to exit door. The only negatives we had were all the faucets initially started with brown water at 1st, which made me jump but it quickly cleared up and we ran it to be sure it stayed clear. Also, the day of checkout which is at 11am. My Husband went out at 9:30am and I had to let him in because the room key wasn't working. Thank goodness we both didn't go outside at once or we'd been locked out temporarily. We left at 10am.

It was very cheap and worth the money. Good location too!
