Quality Inn Santa Cruz

Won’t stay again.

Floors were disgusting in the room. Upon arrival room appeared to be tidy. It was a good size room for a family of 4. A little outdated but that's fine. After walking in the room for 30 minutes it was obvious that the floor had not been mopped in a LONG TIME. The soles of our feet were black. So gross!

Not a safe part of town, and we were warned about locking up our belongings multiple times. No breakfast due to COVID, yet we weren’t given a discount on the room. Also, we were told we would be given a room with a queen bed but received a room with 2 fills. The room had tile floors and was really noisy outside. We would NOT stay here again. Way too expensive for the quality

Staff was very nice and personable. Room was clean. Nice complimentary continental breakfast. Walking distance to downtown Santa Cruz and easy access to freeway. Only gave 4 stars because the clock was not set forward to daylight savings time. It almost messed me up.

I had cockroaches and staff would not give me a refund

The inside of the room was nice and clean. It was a comfortable bed with good pillows. The parking lot is not secure, but we didn’t have any problems and it is well lit. Not the fanciest accommodations, a good economical option.

The manager is great and the facility is very nice. The facility has been upgraded and was nice. Good location for going to the beach also. About 10 minutes away.

The man at check-in was nice enough, although he warned me to be sure to lock the car. The rest of the experience went downhill from there. The bathroom and far window were cracked, the heater was unreliable, the floor was grotesque, the bath tub didn't drain at all well, and backed up when another room showered.
