Super 8 by Wyndham Saginaw

Room was nice, sheets or clean. Shower head was absolutely awful, mini fridge had a loose gasket, would not stay closed and refrigerate correctly.

While out for work training, it was a convenient place to sleep and stay locally.

Bargain for the price. Was very clean for the most part, few stains throughout the room on the floor and the inside of the sink was cracking. Comfortable

The room seemed ok. The toilet could use a better cleaning job, chances are the housekeeping staff is lazy

Didn't look out the window. It was after midnight and left early.

Overall it was an “ok” place. I would stay again for the price. Under the bed skirt wasn’t clean and that kinda weirds me out but the bed was and the linens were clean.

NEVER AGAIN! We travel to Michigan every 4 to 6 weeks to visit family. We stayed at Super 8 one time before and had a few issues such as torn bed sheets which was taken care of right away. This time was different. The person who checked us in was having an issue with my credit card. We had prepaid (booked thru expedia) but needed to pay the $40 deposit which we were aware of. I asked her numerous times if it's just an authorization. I told her that if she puts an actual charge thru and then credits it backed I will be hit with the forex difference. She was like a deer in headlights. She kept asking me my postal code which again I know is required. Then my phone beeps letting me know a charge was put through outside of Canada. I check my Visa account and it shows a pending a transaction of $81. I asked her why that was put through and she said it wasn't her. HOW COULD IT NOT BE HER? I paid the $15 cash for the pet fee and checked in. I figured I would deal with the issue with the morning staff before checking out. In the middle of the night at 3:30 am we were woken up by loud talking and screaming kids. I phoned the front desk and was told that a family had just checked in! I asked him to tell them to keep it down. But the noise continued till 430! The next morning different person at the desk,I showed her the charge and again she insisted the bank did it and not the hotel. The issue is now with head office. Also room was much dirtier than last time. Bathroom floor was gross

When I arrived in the room, the window was wide open. Freezing in the there. So I closed the window and turned on the heat. Makes me wonder if the room was even cleaned. Around the toilet there is black mold. There also long hair in the bed left behind. Definitely think at this point it wasn't cleaned, instead the bed was made. Early in the morning, kids running around in the hallway, then the fire alarm went off in the room I was sleeping in. Shower seemed dirty with black prints on the floor of it. Just over-all bad experience

Everything was as it should be. Clean and comfy.

My friend and I always stay here when in the Bay City/ Saginaw area. It is run by pleasant people and the price is reasonable. The pillows are fluffy and the beds are comfy. It is great for a basic stay. If you want amenities then this isn't for you. My only complaint this time around was the shower and bathroom wall, ceiling condition. Could use some repair and paint.
