Filthy, rude people...

Owners are abhorrently rude. We extended our stay due to being at the casino until early morning and wanting to sleep in. We were told it can’t be done that early because the computer was down, so we fell asleep and woke up to knocking. Went down and paid for the room and was told they need to clean it. She never said why or what time, so an hour later after coming back up and falling asleep again- they are pounding on the door and the walls of adjoining rooms. Go to the door and there are 4 people yelling at us to get out & leave! Pushing on the door, and then proceeding to tell us we have been smoking in the room, which was absolutely NOT TRUE! And they know it’s not true because after watching us pack up all our stuff, with all of them peeking in, clearly seeing the room was ok.. they then said we could stay and they just wanted to clean. At this point, that’s a negative! Yes my boyfriend and his friend smoke- and they’ve watched them go outside every single time bc you have to walk by the front desk! Meanwhile the place reeks of weird incense anyway.. Also, the previous morning we had the “do not disturb” sign on and the owner still came barging in insisting that he put a door stopper on the wall behind the door- while we’re all sleeping! AND, the day we checked in some lady asked us to help her move 2 big rocks for her... we are customers, not employees!! I’m guessing that made her mad from the start that we didn’t help. By all means, stay ANYWHERE ELSE!!

Looks can be deceiving

The hotel is conveniently located right off the highway and surrounded by a plethora of restaurants to choose from. Checking in was quick and easy. The front desk staff was quick and courteous. My only complaints were...(1) no elevator so we had to pack our luggage up 3 flights of stairs to the 3rd floor then get to our room then get to our room, start unpacking and find out(2) there's no iron or ironing board in the room. The bed was cozy, shower was nice n hot, and the room was clean and spacious but needs some type of upright armoire to hang your clothes in. Nice refrigerator, microwave, and coffee pot as well. Plenty of parking spaces and plenty of security cameras around the outside and inside. Due to COVID, no hot breakfast was served but there's a IHOP right behind it so that was convenient. Overall this was a great place to stay and I would definitely stay here again.

Not fancy but clean.They do not offer breakfast but there are places to eat that you can walk to. The staff were very nice

Weekend trip

We stayed 2 nights. The room was clean and neat. We put up the sign that we did not need clean towels. We left the towels hanging up. They still gave us clean towels. that was nice. They did not clean the tub though. There were a lot more vehicles in the parking lot when we returned on Saturday night. We did not notice any noise from other guests. They did not offer any type of breakfast foods. That section was closed. We were informed on check-in that there was a IHOP across the street for breakfast. There were no main floor rooms. All rooms were either down about 5 steps up about 5 steps or about 10 depending on which floor you chose. We were given a choice of floor. We chose up 5 steps because we didn't want our windows at ground parking lot level. You have to go up at least 5 steps no matter if you chose the 1st or 2nd floors. There was a small shopping area with restaurants and other shopping, even a Lowes.

I liked the jacuzzi tub, it worked great. The shower however didn't have any hot water.

I sanitized the room to make sure it was clean before using it. I put out the trash myself and traded dirty towels for clean ones. On the third day while sleeping the manager banged on the door stating I had until the count of 4 to open the door. I told her I needed more time than that to dress myself. I had the “do not disturb” sign in the door for three days and she stated that it was her own policy to open the door because she thought it seemed fishy. She was very rude. She thought I was hiding a pet. I asked her why she thought that and she said that some people with signs do. I told her that she could call me or put up a sign on my door to talk to me. This place was a Zero out of 5. The side door is always left unlocked as well and anyone can come in. The cameras outside of the property must not work as I think the argument could have easily been avoided had they worked. The pancake machine never worked all 6 days I stayed and there is no one at the front desk. You have to call them on the lobby phone if you have a question or concern. There are other hotel options near this one. I’ve stayed at them. You have to pay a bit more but the other ones are worth the money. It didn’t pay me to stay at this one just to save. The manager made her own rules and was very young and unprofessional. Don’t stay here.

rooms are definitely in need of maintenance, bathroom was the worst in the room. toilet paper holder was barely on the wall, gunk on the walls, had to go down stairs to ask for more toilet paper. had to exchange towels in order to get clean ones. before booking you should know that it is only stairs.

The staff is always very friendly and helpful. I have bad copd and would like to see an elevator or something but they are accomadating and put me where i only have to climb one flight of stairs which does help.
