A lot of room for a reasonable price

The clerk that checked me in was wonderful. She was cheerful, personable and made sure I was aware of all the amenities. Parking was no problem and my room was clean. I was there two nights and had no actual issues. I was next to the elevator which occasionally disturbed my sleep but I can’t blame them for that. Someone has to get that room.

Loved the room and hotel. Didn't like the night manager who didn't do anything about loud talking all night long. He even came into room at 3:30 am and was surprised how loud the noise was and did nothing about it. Day manager gave us a voucher for a future visit which was very nice.

Smell in Lobby ruins free breakfast/ Pool is small

Our family stayed at the Towneplace Suites in Brookfield for 3 weeks for a combination of business and pleasure. 1) Because I was on business - I was counting on using the continental breakfast to feed my daughter every day. Unfortunately - there is a HORRENDOUS smell that is SO STRONG in the lobby area that connects to the breakfast area - that all the food tastes like this horrendous smell. Now, someone could argue that this smell is a 'clean' smell - and it is - I think it is a linen diffuser of some sort. But please, please understand that this smell - whether it is pleasant to one person - is SO overpowering it ruins the lobby and eating area experience. Please dial it back! The food was inedible because of the scent. 2) During our stay there was a tornado warning. I called the desk several times during this emergency and no one ever picked up. I was scared to death. Please have the desk person have a roaming phone as we did not know if there was a gathering place during a tornado. 3) Our fridge went in and out the entire stay. Please replace the fridge in Suite 150. 4) Do not be fooled by the photos of the pool. The pool is very small and once 3 people are in the pool - it is uncomfortably crowded for others to enter the pool. Lastly - the positives were that the layout of the room was good and the cleaning crew was friendly.

This place is the definition of "Be our guest". The staff was friendly and accommodating, the facilities were clean, and the cost was affordable and well worth the stay. I'll be back!
